I dreamt
NO I DIDN'T
I tell you what though, if that shit band 'The Fray' curate one then Fray Bentos will be available.
Aye Kim is the good one
I dunno what they were thinking there. I guess this is the bit at the bottom where everyone steams in with people who 'should be on the list'.
Scout Niblett!
Lydia Lunch (only joking)!
Elisa Ambrogio (on a good day)!
Good rekkid again!
I agree that "Falling" goes on too long. But I like the other songs a little bit better than the ones from the last album. So in keeping with the whole consistency thing i'm going to say I like it exactly as much as the last one.
And the bassist totally has a little breakdown riff bit in that second song!
This one is an absolute turd
but it's Acid Mothers Temple! When they are good, they are very very good, but they release 8765 albums a day.
Lucille Bluth made an album!
Who would have thought it
I saw both of those things
and they were both ace. Junior Brown may have been playing through Mastodon's amps too \m/
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
or Sunderland?
I tell you what
Peep the Lolipop remix where he gets his funky techno fresh on.
Am I right?
Exceedingly
lame
Weird Al totally
does parodies, not covers. Shite ones at that!
hey i'm going to be that guy sorry
There are two mixtape 16s!!1111 Trans Am did one too. And it was the bestest so far
In happier news
I like that you can hover over the thread title and get the first few lines without clicking on it. Is nice.
heyyy
I have to log back in every time I open a new window. All the cookies on other sites seem ok. I'm using firefox 3.0.3. cheers!
Buzz's
aluminium guitar is quite snazzy
i think you'll find it's
"Lyte"
you
'Londoners' with your 'options'!
I will be in Scotland
one is enough! Don't want to get burned out.
Still isn't playing
enough London gigs. For shame.
Leave Gateshead alone
you bastard!
Nice review!
I like some older stuff - 'Raft' is fully formed awesome listening in my book. You make this one sound great anyway...must track it down.
This is October though
there's still a gig on Oct. 7th to be confirmed before they fly home, probably from Heathrow, you cockernee bar stewards.
:D
In the interval between that comment and this reply they've released another three albums.
Well not 'nothing' like them
but they are different. It's like comparing two bands that just use the same drumbeat or something.
I'm throwing 'nowt' around like it's going out of fashion. Typing in an accent. Stupid.
the Melting Paraisio
blablabla version of AMT do Pink Lady Lemonade with a 'free' bit in the middle, was that it?
Aye
they were incredible live and this one is better than the last album. They sound nowt like Sunn either although it's probs fair to compare them as the main Asva guy was actually a part of Sunn a while ago.
Superb!
Get to the studio and lay that badboy down.
That's weird
cos my Chrome 'Half Machine Lip Moves' LP has gaps in between the tracks and that also ruins a portion of the album.
I thought the most recent band
was really good! It was really good with the Scottish folk band that are on this new cd too.
The venue he played
in Newcastle was good, in fact thee best! I might get this just because we were there. Cos I sure as hell ain't getting that Sunburned Hand Of The Man live album from Newcastle.
I thought it was 'Platinum Thumbs'
seeds of doubt :(
Heh
well done for getting the 'I was there' bit in. At least they ain't dead!
m_m_m
Aye
HAT is amazing. I miss the slide bass a bit
Play it quietly!
So you can barely hear it
It arrived this morning!
seems like the funky days are back again
Ah
thanks. That's ok then.
Mine hasn't arrived
yet. Anyone else?
Good call on
Sir Lord Baltimore. FYAHHHH YEAH-EAHHHH
Is this worth getting
just for the SOL 7" song? Cos that's the only thing that makes it different from the bonus cd that came with the first album.
Anyone have the SOL 7" to flog?
Nghhhhhhhhh
Will people stop slagging off poor Ian Svenonius, with his ridiculous amount of research, humourous interviewer persona and interesting answer initiation. He is amazing.
Other way round!
But I suppose he has picked Zu.
I dunno mang
I'm all for them making money but they didn't have to do something this lame.
If anyone knows
when the other Harvey Milk dates are they should fess up. Please.
Give them time mang
It's not like any other festival of this size has the days let alone the times planned out this far in advance!
Oh aye
the third one is also very good indeed.
Funny review
"Fast-forward over a decade later and we now find Iraq in chaos following a repeat invasion, the global economy on the brink of total meltdown and The Presidents of the United States of America are back with their fourth LP, These Are The Good Times People."
Genius!
The first two albums are really really good though.
