the victoria show in feb was so incredible, that guy can break your heart with one line.
apparently he's putting out another 3 records in next 12mths - 'Blackhole' is a bit more rock,'War & Peace' is a double album and 'The Cardinals' or 'Star Wars' is a record with The Cardinals. God bless this man.

Is it just me or was Charlotte's solo album basically what the last Ash album should've been? With the exception of Orpheus and Evil Eye it was so dull whereas if Tim had stopped being such a nobber and let Charlotte contribute even half of the songs that ended up on GWF the album could've been so much better.

Just because you write a song with a TV show title in it doesn't mean you get to go on there.

I LOVE Weezer. Genuine actual love. There are very few bands/artists still making records I feel that way about anymore (except Ryan and Decemberists). I totally get that people prefer Blue/Pinkerton and I agree that Pinkerton is definately a work of genius that I don't think they would ever better - however I think the slagging that the last 3 albums have got have been a bit harsh. Especially as they're usually accompanied by comments about how 'theyll never be as good as they were when they made Pinkerton' . I think Green, Maladroit and Make Believe are all great records in different ways and I will really miss Weezer if this report is true.

Did anyone else see them at Hammersmith Apollo last year? Mind-blowingly good.

It is actually 2nd only to Western Freeway as my favourite Grandaddy album, I can't understand the relative panning it's got. For some reason it reminds me of Illinois by Sufjan but that could just be me...
Seriously though, friggin' love the album. I will miss Grandaddy so much :(
