is absolutely fantastic... for me, this album is all about him.
roddy isn't the fantastic lyricist or folk musician he perceives himself as. i love pretty much everything idlewild have recorded, but roddy really does seem to think he's a lot better than he actually is.

i really like this album
of course, it's entirely possible that i just have awful taste, but i think it's a definite progression from the last album and it has some really cracking songs.
it was brilliant live too, most enjoyable gig i've been to in a while.
