Nice interview
Excited about giving Daisy a listen.
Saw them in Kingston last week
thought they were an average Stars basically. Very pleasant, but I wouldn't buy a record.
Can't wait to get this
I pre-ordered it to be delivered to a friend in America so that I could get the fancy edition. I hope it gets here soon!
That would have been
me then.
In London?
A friend of mine offered to hand some out. I thought it appropriate considering I steal all of his ideas.
^
Seconded.
Hey Chris!
How about we add Daniel Ross (the guy who slated my album) into the bout, and I'll join Chris to make it a doubles match. I'm a right terrier in the ring.
DiS vs bland singer songwriters in a fight to the death.
Really love the video
but not so sure on the song.
It's not comedy
it's just great.
I don't recall
there ever being tiny people at those gigs Dave. I'm sure if they were old enough to be out of the house alone at a nasty rock concert they were old enough to handle being told to shut up. Did they break down afterwards?
Uh, Dave
I'm not sure that happened mate. Also, you can hardly call young Harry there stupid when "your" the one that can't spell.
There isn't a
'comedy' metal solo by the way. I sort of wish there was though.
Brilliant

FRIDAY
Got Got Need Records presents:
Sam Isaac
Tellison
Luke Leighfield
Tim and Sam's Tim and the Sam Band with Tim and Sam
@ The Arc
A little harsh
but a classic Daniel Ross review.
7/10 at most
I hate people who say they preferred the old stuff, but in this case I have to say it. Greg's vocal range is limited so none of the songs have real hooks because his voice doesn't cut through properly. The "Hey we take it on the chin!" song is massive, none of the others are. The production is shocking at times (see bass level on first track) and despite the band's overall sound being pleasant, the songs aren't that great.
Oh, and...
...the fat jokes. Really necessary?
Nasty!
Sam is a good lad. Although he often puts his message across in a cack-handed way, and seems to attract hate from many, in my opinion he should be commended for supporting worthwhile causes that others don't bother to think about.
Personally I think this album is ambitious but doesn't quite have the songs to match the first one. Some of the orchestral arrangements are wicked, but the cringeworthy lyrics are a bit of a turn off.
Anyway, quit dissin'. Boom!
Failsafe
are way too good. Winner!
Del
I'm sure I can fix you up with one still in the shiny wrapping. You did buy me pizza last time we met after all.
Burn!
Looks like I got owned. Who are you going to give the CD to Daniel?
Beautiful
The production and songs are lovely. My only criticism would be that a lot of it sounds the same. Same goes for Britney though, and I love Britney.
I like them
But I preferred the old EP. That said, the "hey, we take it on the chin when they say...that we don't, we don't, we don't deserve anything from anyone!" hook in that new song is bigger than anything ever.
Awful!
Awful.
Take themselves seriously?
Hardly. They're lovely men, very humble, and having some fun with their undoubtedly short time in the spotlight.
Shocking music, but they're good gents.
So scathing
I loved every second I spent reading that review.
Awful
Really awful.
I did
LITERALLY BEST THING EVER.
I think they're okay
But I've found them pretty boring on both occasions that I've seen them. Seemed to be the same ideas every song.
I know they're bad
But I can't help but like it. They've released two albums of pop hits, they seem nice enough as people from what I can gauge from interviews and the like, and she's beautiful. Gotta love 'em.
Can't wait
For Kev to hurry up and post my order. Sexy art too - www.twoducksdisco.co.uk did that.

He's clearly mental
and it's brilliant. I'd love to hear what they end up writing together.
