don't believe the hype
I thought they were pretty average I have to say. No doubt the technical problems, and the fact they were dead late arriving probably played a part in this, I wasn't impressed at all.

Re: Kaiser Chiefs - Employment
Menswear!?
The Bees
The Bees are ace, they are perfect outside on a sunny day - though they could, and should have been louder when i saw them on tuesday :(
Stereophonics - Dakota
I pretty much agree with the above, recently the Stereophonics have been the biggest bunch of MOR crap i've heard in a long time. However, although i'm ashamed to admit to it, i do actually like this song - by far the best Stereophonics song in recent memory.
Not sure about the lighters though.
Not sure about the lighters though.
Big Scary News

Take your hamper out: Scissor Sisters to headline
another reason to not go to V this year, not that the fact that i had my rubber tent mallet taken off me last time i went because it was an "offensive weapon" is reason enough. bastards.
Heroin Chic to Heroin Tit - Doherty Developments
I agree with you pretty much all the way damian, he is tabloid fodder, but he's also a prick that steals from his mates. I hope in vain people leave him alone, then we won't have to hear about him anymore
Pass the bucket - pop news to spew to...
kelly osbourne i can happily ignore and not give two shits about, but the return of jamiroquai! At least we know what its going to sound like already, as every single song they seem to release sounds alike.
Re: Brighton's big tsunami gig
yeah i saw them a while back and asked alex about it, just told me he was waiting for a sony deal...
Brighton's big tsunami gig
anyone know whats happening with esp at the moment? as brotherhood of fish has shut down i cant get any info anywhere.
Mclusky split

Peel Stage to oust Glasto Dance Tent?
good dance music should always have its place somewhere, though maybe getting rid of the dance tent is a good idea. writing off dance is a little far to go though, i'm no dance-head, far from it in fact, but i still enjoy listening to a cracking dance tune when i hear it, some chems stuff is brilliant in fact.
so not all dance music is crap, especially if you're counting people like aphex twin, squarepusher et all.
