I don't like Morrissey at all

But this is gold. It's a very well thought out and well written retort.

^ exactly

:D

This is probably the most awesome idea ever

or the most stupid. But either way, it's fucking cool.

serious?!

amazing.

and whilst it is a very good list

It needs more rock. The Bloc Party album should have been cut in favour of Icarus Line or Big business or something MEATY.

That said- No Age, Black Lips and The Twilight Sad, FOTL & !!! all got my very happy vote.

bristol yeah? yeah?

YEAH

my favourite line in a DiS article ever:

"bear in mind everyone is really drunk and really idiot"

there's a bristol date too

I should know, I'm going.

I'm going to say it

I really like The Horrors. And I can't wait to see them at Nightmare Before Christmas.

This sounds awesome

Lords!

Why am I in the wrong town?

Hilarious, absolutely and completely hilarious

it's a little convoluted and long, but so funny. I hope one day to get featured.

Hammersmith apollo

oh fuck fuck fuck.

I still can't get over being let down by their album

the demos were so raw, so brilliant. The album just sounded too slick. Also, the singer pisses me off on stage. He looks like an octopus made of jelly.

Reaidng above I think people have somewhat missed the point here

This is a review of what HE thought- nothing else. And it's very good. I migth not agree with it, but I think it's deserving of a bit of accolade.

This soundtrack is amazing

whatever you say about the show.

Oh.My.God.

No-one made any jokes about the

'musical criminality' of certain artists at V yet?

good news

Best thing to come out of my home county for quite some while.

Lol at the calvin harris thing

they were bloody incredible at somerset house

They do gigs there?

wow.

I like this band

I shall go. But I don't know where the cube in bristol is. Or that it even existed.

*some lovin'

she's perfect.

That shut your eyes track

is amazing, and the mother vulpine one too.

Here I come brizzle.

great artwork

not really. I hate that venue

why couldn't they play thekla or the fleece.

I don't trust any particular label

I buy what I like, by who I like. However, I can think of very little on Ipecac that I don not actually covet, so I trust thejm I suppose.

nah, they ain't up on wegottickets yet

and thats the lumnaire's ticket retailer.

same day as sonic youth don't look back

you bastards.

that's sweet

WINNEBAGO FUCKIN' DEAL. Let's get our rock well and truly ON.

And so much else I want to see as well....I'll probably be too drunk.

He's so great live

But I don't really like him on record that much to be honest. I always catch him live when I have the chance though.

I quite like them actually

They're 'fun'.

Them by numbers isn't deserving of a 2/5

QOTSA by numbers is fantastic by my standards. They're like sonic youth; better when they slip into cruise control. That's what Denney means when he says 3s & 7s is a weak track; it is just them trying to hard. I've heard the whole album several times now, and its a great fat slab of summer psych rock, which is just what I wanted....

Thank fuck you did this justice

the guardian utterly raped it this morning. Cannot wait for my copy to pop through the door (tomorrow please?)

If Myth Takes by !!!

doesn't make the end of year list, I'll....well, I'll be very upset. Great album.

oh and that A Sunny Day In Glasgow

has caught my interest, will be buying that soon.

For me

Bloc Party is worthy. So my list, in no particular order=

Deerhunter- Cryptograms
Bloc Party- AWITC
El-P- I'll Sleep When You're Dead
Blonde Redhead- 23 (if pushed, this would be my favourite of the year)
Battles- Mirrored

I really want to hear Wires On Fire in full, and I am pretty certain both the QOTSA and Iccy Line will make my end of year list too.

hmm might go to this

I like Feathers a lot.
