fab interview

Love the introduction too.

me too!

Couldn't get further away from the ABC than Australia...

any idea when these go on sale?

Day after boyfriend's birthday = perfect gift. Cheers Mr Waits.

i'm in glasgow

I'm going to Australia six weeks from this. I have no time off left. I have to get here.

you'd beat me

I am a pathetic girl about these things.

i'm that hardcore fan

And I really like the Russian Roulette cover so... nyer!

they

were good tonight in Glasgow. The band and the songs. See you down the front on Wednesday ;)

no

Those were Woody Guthrie lyrics. But that was the first thing I thought of when I read this story too.

i must be getting old

I have no clue who that chap at #1 is. At least normally I can roll my eyes.

mine too

"Living In America" is such a good song, she says.

they're on tour in November

Tiny venues. It's going to be fantastic.

i haven't really gotten into it

But for a second there I thought this headline related to an actual TOUR, what with the album being out in October an' all, and so for that I hate you.

my copy of this arrived today

can't wait to give it a listen.

hardly

he's vegan.

this is

the worst track on an excellent album. I have no idea why they picked it for a single over "Black Haired Girl" or "Prisoners of Paradise".

AND I'M BUSY THAT NIGHT!

gutted.

i just meant

what a crap venue.

I got into work early this morning especially, I'm in Row D :)

i'll be there too

Cylde Auditorium? SERIOUSLY??

YES!

Nothing else to add, really.

try

telling people Pablo Honey is your favourite Radiohead album...

so cynical...

I like to look at tracklistings for forthcomign albums to see if I recognise anything from what bands have been playing on tour. Never thought of it as an aide-download.

i'm

going to be suffering for this later in the month, but so be it.

aw hell

I'm going to have this in my head all day now.

I loved the last lot of singles, but this is awful.

I KNOW!

.

the single's shite

still going to see them though.

hillarity

The backlash when they have to reinburse all those thousands of people when those shows get cancelled because Pete's off getting jaiked somewhere is going to be quite something.

that's

exactly my problem with much of Charlotte's solo material. I had to review her Glasgow show on Monday night and spent most of it a bit confused, wondering when the choruses were coming. Listening back to her earlier material over the past week though, it seems that none of her older songs really go anywhere either. So I don't understand why I love "Kim Wilde" so much.

how horrific

Radio One-friendly tedium (with the obvious exceptions of the Arcade Fire and Tori Amos if she doesn't play too much of the newer stuff). Won't be wasting my money this year (I don't have any money anyway).

can you

pm me it when somebody pms it to you? :)

glasgow last night

was jaw-dropping. One of the best gigs I've ever been to. Did you guys have a sing-off?

and

at the unfortunate word choice to describe that one thing she's done I've heard of.

the shins?

Is that out this week? Could only find the single.

according to myspace

Irish tour dates will follow. I'm guessing that has to include NI?

or why pay an illiterate halfwit to write the book for you?

I'd have probably done it for half the price, I'm skint.

i thought the quality has always been shite?

"get your own webspace and stop whining" is right. no good bands let you download the tracks for free anyway.

aye

Be ace if it wisnae a bloody week night, innit?

live, they're one of my favourite bands

but I totally see where you're coming from with the album. And it upsets me.

that

was an amazing piece of writing. thank you.

going to the last-evah show in glasgow next month. it feels wrong to say "i can't wait", but there it is.

agreed

I think by the time I got my copy of the album there were only two tracks I hadn't heard yet.

I didn't like them much. But the rest is ACE.

w0rd

Yeah, it's Friday afternoon and that's basically my entire argument.

you missed out

...it's just man, killing man, killing man, killing man, killing man...

And so on.

definitely my favourite Radiohead track

but then I've hated everything they've released since Ok Computer so what do I know?

resistance is futile

I love this band to death.

oops

I read that as "Ross Kemp" initially.
