But are they...
... worse than The Feeling? I would say that is not possible, because I REALLY hate The Feeling. Though not as much as Razorlight...
My mate...
...and I got called 'gay' by some of the local youths 6 months or so ago because I guess he had a bushy beard and I was wearing a shirt, trousers and a manbag (as in a record bag). I agree with the alaskan, can't we all just get along?
Hmmmm
Controversial this may be, but, despite liking most of SMtZions output, I really dont like this album. Efrum's voice is just too annoying. Sorry
Green Man 07
Its the welsh mountains. Its supposed to rain there. Even if '06 was surprisingly dry.
But SFA will make things uber special. Lets just hope my other prediction for this year, Bat For Lashes (using the logic Newsom played '05 then '07, and BFL played '06), comes true.

Top 4 seems fair, but Animal Collective at 6. Who keeps voting for this guff? And Myth Takes at 23. Travesty!!!
Re: You didn't like?
Started very well. Then I think it started to sound all wrong. Might have been more of a setup issue, but the second half of the set just didn't capture my attention.
BEF
Good review. Good album. Shame they were poor at the Erased Tapes night.
Fightshite
Am I right in thinking this is the single where one side is a cd and the other vinyl, on the same disk?
Bit of a dumb idea if you ask me, but I thought it might sell on curiosity value alone...
Re: LCD at first?!
Yes it is. Listen again. Preferably whilst walking somewhere.
CYHSY Some Loud Thunder = shite
Yes. But their debut is rather special methinks

Couldn't agree more. Strawberry Jam is very overrated.
Mono @Scala (again)
by the way, since when has been acceptable to "shush" people at the beginning of tracks. We all know them. We all know when to be quiet. I thought it was just insulting...
Mono @Scala
I agree with Westredd, Jesu were awful and dull. Thing about Mono is, I missed them before, and you vould say I was always going to enjoy them as some kind of evening of pilgrimage to a band which have been with me for so long. Nonetheless I though they were great. Tight. Uplifting. Mysterious. Just what I was hoping for.
WOO HOO TOO
I know, no registering. You think these would have been for registered fans first (not that I am, so dont care).
Shame its all seated. And shame Ticketmaster charge shit loads extra per ticket. £92.75 for 2 tickets. Thats a bit of a rip off...
Dear SFA,
Would you be so kind as to do your bit for your nation and headline Sunday night at Green Man? (but only announce it after those who were going to buy tickets anyway get them, so as not to cause a rush too soon. Ta!)
OMG
you missed Architecture in Helsinki. Criminal!
Redjetson
I know it would be a little cheeky as they are a DiS band, but Redjetson's New General Catalouge is my album of the year. With Arcade Fire, Martha and Editors just behind. The cd hasnt left my travelling cd case all year long. Tis a stunning underacknowledged gem from a nice bunch of guys who can batter even the most hardened eardrums when seen live.
Kaisers lead Mercury race
In all seriousness though it has to be Bloc - only one on the list that hasn't left my cd holder thingy i carry about since i came out.

Barley
I was trying to think who actually would listen to this. Skins seemed too obvious. But I agree, Nathan Barley is perfect.
Is this really supposed to be good?
