DiS 1.0 :')
was it really only october 2000 it started? I thought it was the year before, I'm sure we did something on deconstruction 2000 in june.
Instant Street probably should have been up there
but they have so many great songs. New album sounds like it could be great.
I hope you got trois heures
i think that benefits the most from being on the CD
although altered beast is obviously a monster track. i think that's on the myspace though.
Quality stuff
The album's cracking - I like the vocals, I find they just make it sound a bit more organic and natural, when a lot of post rock can be a bit cold/frigid. The production's quality an all.
Anyone going to Bestival should definitely check em out, and then any local dates are always good (sound quality of venue dependant mind)
Tasty
and what this needed, in a way
doubt I'll bother
seeing as they are/aren't/are at ATP.
"spacious, melodic and a bit more epic"
nom nom nom
what happens if the insurers say renaissance are at fault though?
which i'm sure they will
that's out dated now i think
although i sent my tickets off a few hours ago special delivery. I imagine everyone'll just be reimbursed. Shame, I could have kept the ticket itself and saved some cash.
Feel sad for them, but also 2 days notice isn't good for those with flights/trains/accommodation etc.... I wonder where the fault ultimately lies? Somewhere between Bjork and Renaissance?
it is good
very good. but then you knew that
crikey
what a saga. eh?! eh?! saga? vikings? iceland?
anyways, sent my tickets off witha covering letter, hopefully get the money through in the next 14 days or so
quite
depends if they have actually been taken off though. I think if they have, there has to be an official 'get refund here' type thing.
aye, i am bit concerned by the 'our source told us'
it does sound a bit like a Sun football rumour
so unreliable
turns up unannounced half the time
that is it
i was half debating going regardless, but seeing sa the other big draw for me, and two of the curiousities (I take it 2 many DJs are out as well?)
at least I SHOULD be able to get a full refund now
gah
i knew i should have got tickets for this instead of Wild in the Country. I don't particularly like house music, i love expeimental rock and metal. 'diversify jake, have a look at some other stuff. plus battles are playing anyway, it'll be fine. and you've never seen Bjork'. Plus it's like a 20 minute walk from my folks' house. And they're away at the moment.
BAH
The custard factory is a wicked venue now though, supersonic was awesome a couple of years back. Have fun folks.
My Sad Captains are great
and redjetson were fine the last time I saw them (which was a while ago). But yeah. MSC will be fun-ness.
so we lose reuben and i was a cub scout but regain Refused
I'll accept that fairly happily. I liked the other two, but I'd love to see refused again.
We don't just want airtime, we want all the time, all of the time

I like this
I thought it was more noiry jazz (something that would fit a 50s b/w film, or a more natural Blade Runner soundtrack), but the Twin Peaks aptness is nice. I prefer the other album I've got (Sunset Mission), but this is a really nice album to pop on for a relax. Excellent night music.
