an believably long time since 1000 hurts, yeah.
sometimes i get a bit annoyed when bands take so long to release albums...but then with shellac, you have to think hes got a full time job producing other bands too.

i have to say though, i think the press should just leave her alone now.
let her go to rehab and just get better.
im not a fan but i feel kind of bad for her- she was very young when she first got famous and i dont think anyone can deal with that amount of attention throughout their young life.

hes making a good point about the over marketing of bands.

im in a band. i wouldnt expect everyone to ike my music, and weve had a couple of people criticise our album.

but if some reviewer started laying into me or one of my band members, id be pretty upset to be honest.
its just out of order.

but i think it was completely deserved.

i dont like that mika guy, but seriously, the reviewer just shouldnt get personal, youre supposed to be reviewing the music, not slagging off the person who made it.
call me old fashioned...!

reviewers can get a bit personal and scathing and clever sometimes.

missed pelican when they played with Mono
saw TAAS and they were well good.

and i dont really like dogs but this is a sad story.
im glad she got her dog back, but the fact that someone kidnapped someones dog then asked a ransom, knowing shed have no choice but to pay it, is really sad.
i hope they catch these people
