i read this thinking, okay, this is going to be fun
and that it was a good review. what the fuck. so i listened, and...
oh fuck you dis this is total shit. i mean really, fucking dreaful. oh god, an 8? what the fuck. what the acrobatic fuck. this is worse than frankmusik by at least a million years, and even that album was steamingly shite.
listen to the record
come back with a real opinion. this sounds more like depeche mode or new order, and that's me being forced to choose a band because you are lazy with your comparison.
fuck everyone
i really really love this album. it's so surprisingly great.
new vitalic?
OMNOMOM
"I gave each track about 30 seconds chance"
you have no opinion.
this album could've been the greatest EP ever released if some of the fat had been trimmed.
as said above, some of the tracks are the most interesting released this year. i don't mind Dominoes either.
THE PREVIEWS ON Itunes
sound utter bearshit. i'm willing to be proved wrong though
totally.
and maybe they want no one to go
holy shit east grange loft? wtf?
that's where i was camping this weekend and... well, its barely big enough to fit 8 tables in. wtf....
there is something fishy going on
however, i don't care if we keep getting new radiohead "singles" every couple of weeks. and the artwork's pretty cool tbh
turns out no i didn't
just picked it up today haha
ouch.
i would disagree with this, because i like the EPs a lot. But then... nah. There a lot on this that sounds like Keane, and alot of the stuff on this album that did sound good earlier has been fuddled with and mixed with to the point of banality. the new version of Confusion girl is just shit.
and i know thats the indie thing to say "ooh the earlier EP stuff was better" but it totally was. and is. I'll forever have the EPs.
it's telling when Q give the album a 5 star rating that it's probably going to end up shite
and Black Holes and Revolutions was pretty weak in parts. Assasian and Map of the Problematique were pretty good... but i worry that this shitty title there might be a stinker coming our way. the populist backlash can only be in the post tbf
i agree with most of it. but i think as a side project it works.
but then i'm pretending its not going to be a movie and is just an album of music
see: the lengths of the songs
realise: this ain't a pop record. :)
i hate their artwork.
only band i can think of that make my eyes hurt.
this is the best album of the year, fuck yer merriweather post pavilion
simply wonderful, ecclesiastical music. beautiful.
i'm impressed.
very impressed.
interesting.
just as blogs started to pick it up. it really is immense.
they are my new favourite band.
really enjoyed them when I saw FR!.
oh god no, it's not boundary pushing in any way at all
it sounds like justice were in the studio and they left the recording on... but i think for a poprock dancey nu-ny type band it is quite a good direction to be stepping. i'd love to see a full album of stuff like that, see how real it actually is
simply brilliant.
they've yet to put out a bad album. :D
6.
Hmm. I'd give it 7. Maybe 8. The thing is that the set of songs are very stong compared to the last album, and even though you say Lucid Dreams isn't that experimental, in kind of is for a pop rock act. Saying it isn't compared to Kid A is like criticising Kid A for not have a middle eight and a verse chorus structure.
THIS IS A LOVELY TRACK
SHEELDZ OUT
SO, UMMMMMM
Should I wear my t shirt to work?
what it means is that i can download, if they put the whole gigs online, a full
live version of 100 broken windows.
im all over this.
