i can't really escape from the fact that the carling weekend is run like a nazi holiday camp.
the fact that there is a separate arena and camping area is shady, as is the fact that you can't take your own booze/water/whatever into aforementioned arena because they want you to resort to Carling. and also the fact that everyone gets thrown out back into the campsite after x o clock isn't good. the scenery is shit. the security are no good.
the atmosphere is threatening at best....am i missing something?

I'm of the opinion that these venues and promoters are ALLOWING this band to play their punk antics, so there should be a little bit of give and take.

You book this band, you expect a bit of attitude, be it real or faked.
You play this venue, you don't fuck it up to the extent that you get arrested.

I listened to both albums last week...
This one is pretty good; the last track 'road to joy' is phenomenally interesting.
The good thing about these releases is that he seems to not be singing in his 'i'm about to cry' voice...It's good..
