Yes. Pretty please.

argh

a) I agree
b) sod off

I believe it's

a) the mighty booshhh

I believe it's

A) Grasshopper

the worst thing is

when you spend the best part of two weeks lovingly crafting a mixtape of the finest and most relevant songs for somebody who is leaving, and then bottle it. Sigh. The one that got away...

is it

Super Furry Animals?

I

proper loled. Thank you for that.

.

From his mind, usually.

yeah

an ice cream man

Wow

The Fav will be rammed.

Yes. I'm a pedant.

UMG just distribute Justice, they're not a subsidiary per se. That's as far as the affiliation goes.

is it

A) ?

Heh

If I shut my eyes

I could pretend she was Bixler.

what about

Returns policy? Isn't mentioned.

I'm there

definitely

I don't know why they

don't just do the same for the US tour.

hmm

Tom would be a jolly rancher. God I miss those things.

I saw

Zooey Deschanel riding around the uT campus on a bike. Pretty much made my year.

you

uh, you're my cup of tea!

:P

I'm glad

someone else noticed. Maybe if he'd been wealthy enough for public school then he 'would of' learned the correct grammar required for writing such a vitriolic missive.

is it me or...

are half their songs sung in Japanese until the chorus?

they just

emailed me with words to that effect. And I know for a fact I have enough money in my account to cover it.

Gays.

it's

the deadly cocktail of free will and determinism. mmmmm, tasty.

the funniest thing is

they've still gotta churn out the 'best of' to fulfil their album deal. And with band / label relations at an all-time low it'll be interesting to see how that all pans out.

hmmmm

After Amethyst Rock Star I had high hopes for the guy, but the S/T record on Wichita kinda disappointed. Ah well, We'll see...

I was liking the guy

until he had a sly dig at a couple of my favourite acts. Hmm, they may not be "party bands" but then again I don't exactly think Miss Newsom comes off-stage, gets on her unicorn and rides back to Narnia, does she?

prefuse 73

yummmmmmmmm

(pretty please)

I went throught a phase

whereby I'd shout "liquid lives" at anyone wearing one of those silly trucker hats with ludicrously straight peaks. People stared at me in amazement so I gave it up. Still, it made me chuckle for a few weeks.

incorrect

best heckle ever was in face at live 8, when bono took to the stage...

BONO: (clapping) Everytime I clap, a child in Africa dies!

SOME GUY IN CROWD: well stop fucking clapping then.

:P

gotta love whichever big-wig was behind that decision.

I'm sorry

but A Life Less Ordinary is the best thing they've ever done. Hands down.

ME TOO!

I partied with the brick way back in 04!

I hear he wears clothes now?

I hate to be all elite about it, but he didn't "completely change the lyrics", he sang the original EP version of Oxygen. Hence why no piss-heads new it. They probably just heard it on the radio second time around.
It also seemed to have no middle 8 bit, "If I'm afraid to catch a dream..." like in the album version.

:)

let it burn - adem.

perfect soundtrack to dying.

oh, sunday please.

heh

That night was hilarious.

kate nash

It's all a bit Catherine Tate, isn't it.

yup.

Various places here have wristbands for sale if there are any left, during the festival. The ones I saw last night (bearing in mind the festival was already half way through then) were $175.

Looking around, there's lots of industry people here, but just as many punters just looking for a good time. Tuly, everyone should experience this at some point. I came out here with no wristband or anything and have seen all the bands I've wanted to see, playing little parties and free day events.

manhattan love suicides

go see manhattan love suicides at 1pm today. i think you'll like them. it's at lovejoys, off 6th street. theyre from leeds. very nice brooding jesus and mary chain / velvet underground stufffff.

Joseph

PS. How bollocks was that NME barbeque, seriously! Free beer and BBQ, though.

they didnt play

How Near How Far. Or Heart In The Hand. The reason this mistake has occurred is because the tech guy just gives over a copy of the setlist. The default one, if you like. By the time the show's happened, things have been switched and deleted. We got Aged Dolls instead. AND Morning Stoner in their places, though, so it's all good :)

it's got to be

candy girl - new edition

ooh-er

Meat Puppets reunion, so I heard.

yes

You are. I saw you and went "wow, Tiernan's famous now." You'll be on MTV2 come January.

Other honourable mentions must go to Evan and doorman Paul also. I didn't much like Jamie's cameo though, nor the woman on the bench next to him.

phosphorescent

was by far the best act on the night. beautiful stuff.

castanets didn't really turn up for me. i thought they were awesome on their last tour, though.

hmm

Lycanthropy was a masterpiece - the perfect balance of beats and odd instrumentation; from folk songs to electronic disco-loveliness, but I'm really worried that this latest effort will disappoint. I saw his last two London gigs and it all seems a bit twee, a bit too Disney. He's at his best when he's dark, mysterious and brooding, not when he's telling me to smile or put on a happy face.

soundclash

Damn T-Mobile Adverts.

My Favourite.

Dream Of The Blue Turtle rocked my little world. Fuck Thatcher!

dan dan deep pan man

I see him out at gigs alot. I don't like his little beard.
