Hardcore Will Never Die was pretty dreadful; the first Mogwai LP I couldn't bring myself to buy. Will definitely check this out though. Nice review.

I've never heard Bad Dude before and it certainly makes interesting listening. Dan, you're in for a treat seeing them live, though you must promise to see them again and again and again. Part of the fun of Eels Live is that each tour tends to be very different from the last.

I do genuinely think this is a good record. I went for the tongue in cheek review because Lulu had been streaming on the loureedmetallica site so I figured most people who were interested had made up their minds anyway. I also thought that most of the reviews and comments I had seen about Lulu were ridiculous harsh and strangely hateful. I believe it is the kind of bonkers, outside-the-comfort-zone project that should be encouraged so I decided to go to the opposite extreme and say it was the second greatest album ever made (in tribute to LB). Some people seem to think I was completely taking the piss, which is not the case. I still can't believe it exists, but I'm glad that it does.

I've tried but I just can't get into Real Emotional Trash.

"tenacity" should read "audacity" - sorry about that, sometimes I gets me words all muddled. Less sorry about Gilmour. He's okay sometimes I guess.
