Pneu (france) + Shield Your Eyes/ Oxford
March 27th @ The Wheatsheaf
Pneu are amazing too!
And they speak perfect english
Maybe some lines in the songs work against the music but that just adds to the angular feel of it. It's another instrument after all
I
like it. Vocals grew on me I think and then it's just a great upbeat album that contains a few gem tracks
i thought
They were awesome live when I saw them at truck. Will check this out, but it won't put me off seeing them again if it's not too great
yeah
I'm a little peeved about this
.
terrible
:(
Gutted.
2 of my favourite albums and amazing live. Was a pleasure to be able to put them on a few months ago
.
i don't like it
Poor noise girls :)
...well at least they got the link right.
Good pluggin' toby!
yes hreda
yes Poor Girl Noise!
.
shit
.
Good gig. Shame the e.p tunes seem to be a little forgotten by the crowd though, whereas they used to be the big tunes.
i'm pretty sure they played race:out first and race:in a little later. Cos I remember thinking it was odd.
:(
wish I could go to this, will be great
poor eits
they've not had much luck of late. Realy enjoyed the astoria show though :)
bat
i like the original batman, but batman begins just nips it for me; the other ones are pretty shite
^
so don't go to the gig
I like the album a lot and that line in the song
.
I thought Gravenhurst were great, and its the second time i've seen them; everyone around me in the crowd seemed to enjoy them. For you to say the 'the support was rubbish. Fact' is just idiotic as it's your own opinion.
Explosions in the sky were great; extremely uplifting. And yes the amp did burn up in the last song.
...
giving them an acronym is too much credit also
:)
that gringo gig looks awesome, especially now with part chimp, shame i'm away for that
noooo
no i wouldn't say 'a bit shit' i'd say unique talent
...though
it's well worth checking out the smaller stages im sure e.g. world music seems to be the place
shocker
so they've catered for the NME readers then...well done
Glastonbury was popular enough when there was good music
oxford bilge
'no london or oxford? what is happening with the world. i love bilge pump.'
I asked them to play oxford in october if that makes you happy :)
...
and yeah polaris are/were incredible!
doh
'I like the fact they're not bothering with London though.'
'No Londump date makes me sad.
Bilge Pump are mint!'
They played in london about 2 weeks ago at teh imperial college union. I was there and it was awesome as always.
hehe
'I'll see Doherty, Kasabian, Killers, possibly View and Kooks'
Haha, they're the bands i would be nowhere near
Bjork is the best news i'd say, though i'm not going. Can't top 2003 IMO (radiohead, sigur ros, rem, mogwai, flaming lips etc), it is worth going for the festival itself though.
hmm
this has already been rubbished...well here at least
or...
'shroves tuesdays'
shit
"No one parties like Primal Scream. They're a band who have had a massive influence on our scene."
shame the music' so shit then
bardo pond
i saw them, it was great
atp stooges
they played a new song at atp and it sounded great
really enjoyable set too
....new album
i like bodysnatchers and i'd add all i need to that list
b sides?
harrowdown hill was my first love on the album; I think it's certainly the easiest to get into, but now I think they are all great, analyse being my favourite becuase of it's flow and lyrics
what are the b sides like on this single more importantly?
oh right
ok,
guess i'll have a go later on then
limited numer in advance
above in the article it says a limited number of advance tickets will be available to w.a.s.t.e members, so it can't sell out.......surely
ebay
well he would say that, then jack up the price
well....
originally it said site locked till march 22nd, today
haha

:(

how nice
I'd like to see Radiohead and Muse and Rolling Stones headline.
Muse aren't 'too readingy' you seem to like to sterotype your festivals. Muse headlined Glasto in 2004 and it was amazing!
I wasn't too impressed by the headliners this year. Prodigy was my favourite set on the other stage.
