its a bit pointless. Things were ok as they were, we don't need to know who posted last. I'm all for change, but not too much unneccessary change.
I never officially quit DiS.
But I pretty much stopped posting for a while, and the main reason was probably the last design before this. Didn't get along with it at all. But yeah, I'm a gayer.

You're not an awful side.

But it's standard innit. I just think the whole 'amazing fans' thing is wrong. Look at the treatment towards Sam Allardyce last year, your fans need to realise that Newcastle are back where they belong, they flirted with the Top 4, and fucked it up!

You see I disagree again.
In fact when we played Spurs this season, away I think Downing scored, Grounds own goal, the analyst for Soccer Saturday actually said we were the best team outside of the Top 4. Clearly we're not, but if you watched us week in week out last season we played some brilliant football at times, our problem was with finishing teams off.
I can see where you're coming from.
But this season will be different. Honest! We've got no players in midfield, but we have a decent defence and a pretty good forward line, hopefully this will be a year of progression for us!

Arsenal last year, decent draw with United.
Chelsea year before.
Year before that we dicked on United AND Chelsea.
I may have to kill you.
I disagree though, obviously. I think it's actually a great acheivement that we, a small industrial down from the north, have managed to stay in the premier league for 11 consecutive seasons now, whilst potentially much bigger teams have been relegated/struggled. Since our promotion in 1998, there's only been maybe one or two seasons where we've been in any real danger of relegation.
And in that time we've won the league cup and got to a UEFA cup final (with some incredible matches along the way), we've finished seventh and been hailed for our productive youth academy which has created one (soon to be two) England International and numerous U21 internationals.
Not to mention the two cup finals in our relegation season, and the cup final when we were in Division One.
Oh, and Juninho.
We're here on merit, and whilst I agree that it's boring, we shouldn't be hated for it. I don't think.
I'm still relatively unconvinced.
He can do a job for a lower premier league team, but nothing more than jsut doing a 'job'. I'd like him to prove me wrong though.
