Very Bad Idea.

I went to see the Bad Brains in London last year and it was such a disappointment, after everything i've read about 80's hardcore/indie and all the records I dug out, seeing a load of old men with very little energy in a pretty big venue, didn't really live up to the image I had in my head. I'd rather the past stayed in the past, and prefer not to be a part of those days, there are plenty of good bands kicking around the DIY circuit to get excited about, they will never have a legacy like the 80's bands because the context is just so different. There are still great new records to get into, great live bands all happening right now.

Any band that doesn't have the original line up should definitely not even try it.
