UNBELIEVABLY GOOD
ahh!
GIVE ME IT NOW! loving this band way too much at the minute. beautiful.
Good god
I never knew this band were so 'successful'. They are indeed talentless and shockingly terrible band.
I supported this band last year
Last November..at a crappy little youth club in St Albans. I hadn't actually heard of them before the gig but they headlined. We arrived and they had completely taken over the band area. They look absolutely ridiculous, and even had their own make up artist. Their music is SHOCKINGLY TERRIBLE. The kids, needless to say, loved it. However, they were pleasant enough as men. They just didn't look like men.
IWACS
can fuck off! I don't want to see them with minus the bear! ughhh....
two
:)
how big is the roundhouse?
in relation to other london venues?
i want to gooooo
i just want to see errors!
ARH!"!!!!!
im pretty sure
elbow, amusement parks on fire, hundred reasons, blood brothers are all on V2
why is it
18+? hmmmm?
im going anyway...
fucking amazing
and fucking amazing live!
bsm
really doesn't excite me anymore. they've signed a whole load of boring acts in the past year. mmisl is the only good thing they have coming out in the near future. to be fair, mmisl is a very very very good thing.
hahahah
very true. futuresexlovesounds is basically a 1999 clone album. even the title was ripped off prince.
hahahah
i just knew it was going to be over 18s...nice one. i dont think they're strict anyway...
james blunt
DiS favourite?!
their first album
was pretty amazing. the second was ok. the new one is absolutely apalling.
shame.
there's no point
trying to pretend that your music is some kind of pure expression of what's inside your head. it's a coincidence that they sound like godspeed, sigur ros etc? i don't think so. silly thing to say, really.
scala
had to be a fucking over 18s venue didn't it?? i have to go..somehow...
yes
and blackhole, who are ok
YA!
make the london headline show somewhere decent and not strict 18+ plz :)
what a
shitty shitty band. i mean everyone knows who beth ditto is now but who the fuck has heard more than one of their songs?
just imagine
how big that man's guns are.
yaah
alexandra palace, wembley arena and similar sized venues all SUCK.
if it was at brixton it would be cool. but i've seen foals in tiny venues and i saw bloc party at the mean fiddler in january so i'll skip thiss.
BATTLES AND FOALS
YEAH MOTHERUFCKEEEEEERRJJAJAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
or your own forums
haha..
im 17
and i dont want to go to this, i want to go to field day for battles! i hope they aren't strict with it.
man you are so cool
hadouken are so shit, seriously.
Was about to mention Elbow!
They do fantastic covers, August & September in particular.
The last part of the article
is a joke, right?
Wow
I want to go to both!
And indeed
Chariots were bloody brilliant.
Haunts
are also from Watford. You will hear more and more about them over the coming months.
wowwwwwwww
Foals are playing too.
WHY
WHY IS THE SCALA 18+
I
AM
SO
ANGRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
I think
it's a sign of affection towards Mogwai. Scene also sounds a bit like the song on Mr Beast where Tetsu does vocals.
The Scala
...is 18+ isn't it. Brilliant!
At last!
Someone who doesn't think the new EITS is the greatest thing ever. It's good and all but not as good as the last two albums...I'd give it a 6 or 7. The Earth... is so much better.
I hate
- promoters who book one of my favourite bands at an 18+ venue
- 18+ venues
FUCK YOU!
Beautiful
Not sure if I would call the guy an innovator, but seriously wonderful stuff to listen to late at night.
Disappointing
They had so much potential, but this album is stupidly disappointing. How you can give this a 9 is ridiculous..I don't know. The James Ford Sessions were amazing, and the tracks from that are the good tracks on the album. The rest of them are just lazy and dull. I can't believe they couldn't even be bothered to write new songs for this. How can they include songs as old Atlnatis, Gravity etc??? I would not pay money for this.
