And although Bono's ego can be a little cringeworthy at times the whole spectacle is brilliant. Some of the 3D work is amazing even if you're not a massive fan of U2.

but The Shins were quite awful that night - bland, uncharismatic and at times arduously dull! And I bloody love 'em.

For me the highlight of the autumn hopefully, and from the couple of tracks on I've heard so far its sound pretty damn good!

They're from Minneapolis, which is in Minnesota - not Wisconsin. Sorry for being a pedant. Great album though!
