BEST

NEWS EVER

Wow

This looks amazing
x

wow

this is amazing.deffo going to see them on the tour in january.

She

never churns out the same thing, she always tries to tweak her music in a slightly different way, and i think she does it well.all her albums have shining moments on, some (like dry and to bring you my love) have more than others. she was superb at the bridgwater hall, my favourite gig of the year, no least for the crowd banter. managed to get a ticket (albiet on my own) for her london gig.very excited about the new album.from what i heard last saturday it seems to have a more simple personal depth (rather that previous albums having on going themes about her relationships with people, rather than her herself) to it. i am really quite excited.
x

salford, a home town to be proud of

oh i love my salfordian roots and the antics of my fellow salfordians, someone has obviously lifted some lead off the roof (granted not the holy name church, but still). but yes, the kids of ordsall have been hard done by.
the smiths were great, they have influenced countless musical artists in a positive way, and it wasn't just pointless moaning. i think they were a beacon in the face of thatcherism and all its hideousness and did represent a lot of people of the time who were fed up with the political climate (for example, shoplifters of the world unite - "my only weakness is a listed crime").
x

pj tastic

yeah, last album was more of a grower than say dry or to bring you my love, some very memorable moments on Uh huh her though. i am going to see her on Saturday, quite excited, although would much rather hear older stuff than previews of the new album; although if "the mountain" is anything to go by the new album should be tres tres bon.

Where It's At? Beck lends music to Fox's O.C.

the OC sound track is awfully good, the shows producer tries to push new american music, cos it's so much harder for smaller bands on independant labels to get nationally recognised over there with out the force of big lables. by that respect it's qutie odd that beck's music will be on the oc, but in some ways it does suit the show.seth cohen is into the acest music, and is tres hot.heh.
