Dan Deacon's 'Crystal Cat'
even more trippy, if that's even possible:

ahaha
at the picture of Pink Eyes crowd-surfing.
thou shall not take a shit song
and make it even more unbearably shittier.
wow
Sweaty stuff.
Bugger
Really wish i'd seen LCD live now.
"more than acceptable"
No need to crack out the hyperbole then.
IMO, this is a better album: in terms of lyrics, musicianship and sound. I think it deserves a better if not equal mark to the original.
What does the t-shirt look like,
please?
The Carnival
dancers and ticker-tape was an amazing touch.
haha
I love how they cut her off at the end.
It's strange
how the JoFo backlash seems to be the vocal majority here. Where did all the voters go?
Well I think they deserved it, it's a fantastic album. But there's no denying that Street Horsing is equally great.
^
Rubbish, plenty of great albums there.
The only London date is 18+
thanks a fucking lot DiS. Another great tour line-up missed out.

GRAASSHOPPER
Really?
I thought the general consensus was that Blacks Kids were abysmal live.
Damn missed him the first time round,
and now I'm going to have wait till autumn. He's not playing any festivals is he?
"...impending release of My Chemical Romance's latest album."
I thought that their last album was released last year?
Looks like a firm
new album.
you haven't really
justified the final mark for Lotp. It's all well and fair to make yourself out to be infinitely superior by not falling into the same pitfall hype as everyone else. But you don't seem to have any specific criticism as to why they're so terrible. I'm not really much of a Lotp fan but I think you should elaborate a bit more.
On a more important note,
the violinist is cute.
bah
6/10 at most.
It would be nice
for them to do a gig in London that isn't 18+.
(Yes, I know everyone post-18 loathes 'screaming-Topshop-dressed-Skins-kids', but you were our age once too.)
Great review.
It was an awesome set, but like you mentioned the lack of space killed any opportunity for dancing.
Also the crowd did make me feel like I was at a Kaiser Chiefs gig a few times. Mainly when a bunch of complete nobs started a mosh pit to 'Waters of Nazareth'.
(On a lesser note, 4th paragraph: "we more we shake" should be "the more we shake". Not being pedantic, just pointing it out)
who hasn't
downloaded it yet?
Clearly anyone who actually wanted to listen to it has already downloaded it by now. So why keep it open. Its not as if it won't be available free once the cd comes out...
