That's a valid queston. You know when you start to read something (or watch a film, listen to a song) and think "This is pretty awful...", but you carry on reading (or watching/listening) to it, in the hope it'll get better? That's what I did with this. And it didn't.

Stuff like:

"J: If I’d’ve been there I would’ve been hyping ya. I’d’ve been your hype man. "

is just cringey.
