with this piece is that it starts by saying "pop music is great, it shouldn't be frowned upon for being popular etc etc" and then, at the end, asks for which "arty pop acts" you'd like to see. Why do they have to be arty? Why can't they just be pop?

The set was far too loud and I couldn't pick up all the delicate stuff they had going on. I need to listen to the album as I thought the ideas were there, I just couldn't hear them.

Thought it was more consistent than the Klaxons album. Problem is, LCD Soundsystem have cornered the market for indie-disco-pop for this year.

But do you not think the production is a little over the top? I've seen him live a fare few times now and love his approach, this just doesn't feel right to me...

Listening to the two tracks on their myspace, there's some serious riffage on the second track... nice...

I may even stretch to say it's the most beautiful song of the year so far... Ahhhh, to be young and in love...

Support Tilly and the Wall in Cambridge and she blew them away. She has such a great voice and the lyrics are really good, very personal and open.

Around the UK is it though, to be fair...

Two in Scotland and the rest in Northern England / Midlands.
