A) Yes

"Rooted in techno and dance music but it's also influenced by the '60s"
So, XTRMNTR, basically?
^This.
The last 30-secs or so really do make that song.
Are thought we were all quite open about being 'lonely losers'?
No? Just me?...

I've downloaded a couple of tracks (including the single), and it sounds pretty special indeed.
It isn't,
but each to their own.
"The Greatest Man That Ever Lived" is by no means a "sub-Bloodhound Gang stinker"
It is, in my opinion, probably the best thing they've ever done. I've not given the album as a whole enough attention to gain an honest opinion on it, but that song is spectacular.
The headline should have been:
'Prince "does a Radiohead"'
Missed a trick there......
The lineup for T4 On The Beach
is probably far superior to this garbage.
Not really.
The Latitude festival looks far more promising than Glasto, ergo a more accurate view of music in 2008 perhaps?
That is properly awful.
I wonder how Ben Folds must feel, sandwiched inbetween two of the worst bands in the country.
Again, to be fair...
... Morrissey always has, and presumably always will, have a hardcore following who will pretty much purchase anything he releases, so I don't think he necessarily did this with record sales in mind.
If I'm honest, he probably did give the money knowing full well that it would look very good indeed if his case does indeed make it to court. (I'm aware that this is completely contradictory to my first post - I am merely playing Devil's advocate) But I don't think sales really come into it.
Misleading, yes
but all the better for it, shirley?
To be fair...
... if anyone's willing to part with £28,000, they must be pretty dedicated to the cause.
"we'll stop short of calling this latest turn of events gallant, but anything for a good cause, yeah
Not that I don't necessarily agree with you but, considering what happened with The Word magazine earlier this month, you'd probably be best watching what you say regarding THAT topic.
That
is a far better headline.
The more I see that cover
the more I fall in love with it.
What was the original title???
Dammit, I hate missing things!
It doesn't help matters
that he looks almost exactly like the singer from McFly, sans moustache.
I'm flip-flopping over it...
... but, yeah, this^ pretty much sums up my feelings about it at this moment in time.
^It's Tom Clarke!
Hey - at least there's no songs about castles!
Whatever people's opinions of the NME are,
to choose the fucking Enemy to adorn the front page over a rare Scott Walker interview, as they have done this week, is an utter abomination.
Radiohead HAVE headlined. Twice.
And that last sentence utterly negates any validity your arguement had up to that point.

Probably the best thing anybody has ever posted on DiS. Ever.
The only similarity between the two is the rhythm
Which, if anything, mostly resembles "We Came Through" by Scott Walker, which I'd presume is intended.

Also, it seems strange that you would pick on Slipknot, considering you placed them in your DiS66 feature a couple of years ago.
Get Mark Ronson involved!
Then, not only will all your favourite Velvet Revolver & GnR songs be brutally destroyed by a deafening massacre of brass, but there'll also be vocals be Lily Allen! Amy Winehouse! That guy who sings that awful Radiohead cover!
You know it makes sense.
I QUIT! I QUIT!
'CAUSE LOVING YOU'S A JOB I DON'T NEED! AIN'T GONNA GO TO WORK NO MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRE!!!
Ahhh, God Bless awful late-90s girl bands....
A very surprising album indeed
I pretty much hated their debut, but have fallen completely in love with this record.
T'was just an assumption.
Apologies.
Jesus, that sounds awful!
"Channel 4 documentary" = lolz.
"The bosses knew they wouldn't offend anyone"
They took the piss out of the whole crowd, for God's sake!
