fucking fuckers
I had tickets to see them for the first time this year, just so happened to be the only cancelled date on that tour, and now I'll never get to see them
:(
well i like it.
so :P
meh
season finale of prison break monday, i think the choice is obvious.
what?! no sitting on the downs?
fine, i might as well go to work. which means no uni organised fun for me, not even going to my graduation ball (40 a ticket, for the 'privilege' of seeing vernon kay?? no thanks)
demo on friday night instead i reckon.
meh
planning on sitting outside again like i did last year, you can drink your own alcohol, and still hear and see the bands on the main stage. a lot cheaper!!
yeh!
tokyo police club, woop!
that is a really nice picture of trent...
thank you.
fave cameo
'Billy Corgan, Smashing Pumpkins'
'Homer Simpson, smiling politely'
it's true
my housemate works at rock city and told me all about it. fucking disgusting.
didnt tim burton
direct that video? christ knows what he was thinking that day.
yeh josh and brody are still together
they've had a baby too
pitt
was great in hedwig and the angry inch. absolutely awesome film.
how apt
i met the view in the girls toilets in the pit and pendulum.
true story.
censored
this song annoys me, mostly because they bleep out 'god' on tv/radio. not 'goddamn', just 'god'. explain that one to me!
its pc gone mad i tell you.
simon amstell
is absolute genius! think preston is trying to outdo himself in how much of a dick he can look.
hahahahahahaha
hahahahahahahahahahahaha
what a cock
nil points for the second time i hope
awesome
help she cant swim as support!
i hope i win as i have zero pennies.
oooh

pfft
what a hippy
or
half price even
boo
catch the long blondes on their own tour instead, with the awesome navvy supporting. have the price and twice the fun!
wooo!
yay, go navvy!
fuck moby
gas his family and make him live under tyranny for decades and we'll see if two wrongs makes a right then.
im against the death penalty, but its very easy for me to say that. in the case of saddam, he got off easy, he got to live to 69, an old age he robbed off the thousands of children he murdered, and had a quick and painless death.
if the iraqis feel they have been given some degree of justice by seeing the bastard hang, they have every right in the world to celebrate.
*their
not there.
tsk tsk.
oh yeh
roll on there nottingham date in the new year.
cant fucking wait.
what?!
muse, my chemical romance and rise against on the same bill??
*salivates*
damn america
well
all being well smashing pumpkins will be over sometime next year, so that would be just awesome. though it would make tickets rarer than gold dust, more so.
led zeppelin are touring the US next year as well apparently.
so i'd like pumpkins, zeppelin and......erm, rage, about time they kissed and made up.
this is looking more like a download line up, still, i can hope.
hooray!
something to beat the post-christmas blues for sure.
cant wait!
simon
i thought that was edward
guilty pleasure-cum-drunk
is like a combination of the two, like when you have a kitchen-cum-dining room. she's a guilty pleasure, but shes also a drunk.
isnt it??
so
then i can post a comment saying 'woo i was there!'
but i think thats been achieved now anyway.
russell brand
is a gigantic tool. speaking of tool, wooooooooo how awesome were they at nott arena on friday! any chance of a review?
small-stakes
oi! leave off with the nottingham bashing.
but i thought the muse setlist idea was pretty cool. its what the gorillaz did last year with demon days, and that was just awesome.
oh yeh, and flowers is a twat. and a mormon no less. dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb.
or even
friday. not that i dont love a good firday.
tickets...
...go on sale firday morning, 9am
third time seeing these guys at rock city, awesome!
confused.com
isnt that picture of that steve guy? that won a couple of years ago. yet you're talking about shane. and this years winner.
ok, so i shouldnt know its steve. but if you're gonna talk x factor, get it right dude!
totp
art brut were a definite highlight though the spanish are annoying in their 'dont touch me' attitude. very difficult when everyone's going mental. placebo - what a complete disappointment, they started playin a similar set at leeds, but saved themselves by playing a few songs we'd actually heard of towards the end. the walkmen were awesome too, new album sounding good. all in all, yay for festival's with guaranteed sun! and how cool were those fan/water spray things?? me wants.
wooo
smokers die younger, 9/10, good call
shit
gonna miss these guys, saw them at leeds festival and they were immense. black history month is complete genius. gutted.
agreed
way too low, deserves 8/9, ive had this song stuck in my head for about 8 months and its yet to annoy me. plus the artwork is awesome, kudos dan-yell.
snore
i met the rapture, they are really dull and wouldnt stop talking about "candy", before attempting to steal my mate's vinyl, how rude. funny story, we gave them directions back to their tourbus but got confused, asked "how do you turn left at a roundabout, its round?!" stupid americans.
FF
i really liked the fatherfucker album... that 'he's not dead he's gonna live, i see his eyes rollin back in his head' etc track is awesome.
ooooh
how exiting. i love this band, not heard this yet but if their album thats not actually an album, 'best kept secret', is anything to go by, this should not disappoint. so good live too.
long and blonde
long blondes were as awesome as ever, though putting them on in the social was a bit stupid, way too small.
mv vs atd-i
im used to the disgusted looks and gasps of horror by now, but i stand by my conclusion that mars volta are simply better than atd-i. an amazing live experience as well.
The Long Blondes - Appropriation (By Any Other Name)
you should check out 'once and never again', tis my fav blondes song. ive had the honour and privilege of playing with the long blondes on many occasions, they're great guys (and gals), wish them all the look in the world, see them in shef soon no doubt!
Smooth Criminal? MJ Found NOT Guilty
personally i think he is guilty, not necessarily a sick and twisted predatory paedophile, but he's definitely tapped, and probably doesnt actually think he's done anything wrong. the jury were probably afraid of having his suicide on their hands if they sent him down.
all in all, the cheese has slid off his cracker for sure.

i love damaris
but i've been listening to a live version (after hearing it at dot to dot) waiting for the album, and after listening to the album, i dont think it sounds nearly as good. maybe its just one of those much-better-live songs.
