2 of my top 3 in here
Walkmen and beach house - very surprised they're this low.
Agreed
Yes yes. Great album and very good review!
YES!
Ace news and a double, looking forward to this big time.
Woop - Oxford tomorrow
can't wait, despte the fact it hasn't sold many (apparently)
Think it's an 8 personally but time will tell
Found it a bit oppressive at first but now has bedded in and I'm even finding it somewhat uplifting at times, which is how I feel about Autumns/Winters. Good review though.
Loved every moment
And i was in stalls row R - still plenty close enough to feel a part of it.
Still my favourite band and have been since Alligator, good review also.
Enjoying this myself
and reviewedd for line of best fit and is quite difficult not to keep mentioning Interpol but I think more of a 7 or 8 also.
Have to disagree
at least a 7.5/10 if not an 8.
marvellous song
everyone in Oxford has been well aquainted with it them/for some time now and there's plenty more where that came from Clever bods but lovely chaps too, have played with them a couple of times and I produced them stuff with them early on. There are five and then a violinist on some songs.
very good review
have been looking forward to this since knotty pine
This album
is ACE!
it's all about Truck
I heard BRMC and Seasick Steve although neither are confirmed. BRMC - way ahead of their time no (admittedly in being first to go back to certain influences - don't know if that can be called being ahead of your time)? First album still sounds great anyway.
I can't see it changing everything
because unless I'm being totally stupid then surely the big flaw is that it's only going to benefit those who only listen to music solely on their computer. There may be a lot of people on here that listen to the majority of their music this way but it represents a minority in terms of the wider music listening public. What about if you want to listen to something on your mp3 player on the way to work, surely Spotify doesn't cater for this - stop me if I'm wrong, I've only used it fleetingly for this reason. Also in terms of the majors/indies situation it seems like Spotify got most of major content first and the indie stuff that is disappearing is on the whole disappearing because Spotify didn't have permission to use it in the first place but do so now and as such the indies are in the process of re-submitting masters and meta data.
