I like the scene with the rising/falling blocks and lasers everywhere; it's a pity, that The Resistance is not that good as their previous work
plus, new Bellamy's outfits remind me Lady Gaga. just a little, but still
.
and finally my review for Slovak/Czech speaking readers

what I ment
I don't think that reviewer should describe every single song, but there are many nice and well-written ideas that could be mentioned.
like "I've got no cards to play, that's why, I've got nothing to say, tonight" discussing some frustration of the smallness of his words.
or “I see you building the castle with one hand, while tearing down another with the other” - that's what people do very often, trying to get something and breaking it in the same time. and I think it's a nice metaphor
or simple “So we meet again after several years, Several years of separation” what symbolizes a big part of this album.
and there could be many quotations that I could mention. I would be silly to put everything into one review, but talking about two songs when you have a bunch of emotions & topic seems to me deficient
review
I'm not sure about the review because describing just two songs, another two mark as sentimental and let the rest of the album (with 13 songs) untouched as uninteresting and not worth of writing somethings seems to me not very professional and fulfilling the demands of an 'advanced' DiS reader. After many important points of KoC career isn't this review enough and is more on its halfway than the album it describes. sorry.
9/10 - very good
finally one review praising the diversity and progression of APTBS. Exploding Head is in my view a little bit better than the predecessor as it sounds more industrial and has more melodies and better understandable lyrics-- the elements often criticized. I like the review and Exploding Head too a lot
at first I was very skeptic about this album as everybody (including P4k) loved them. then I tried it on Spotify, later put in my iPod and finally fell in love with them; with minimalistic guitars, cute whispery voices, pleasant rhythms behind, fragile & naive lyrics. it's nice, more autumns than summer album deserving it's great reviews.
comfortable role as dubstep Godfathers?
maybe the dark sound of their older records influenced dubstep's feel but it surely influenced many other genres and interprets, not just ds. I think that bounding Massive Attack and dubstep in such a direct way is misstep and has nothing to do with 'Splitting The Atom' release.
you're right, but sometimes is hard to decide for top album in the end of the year as well. and every time it is very subjective.
I dunno, but I listen to it during day too; then I feel a little bit daydreaming, but it's a nice feeling :)
AFI
funny, I hoped they get 0/1O because 3 is too much for AFI, but OK, I'm satisfied
for me this is album of the year along with Fever Ray. slow, cryptic, mysterious, soft and beautiful. and Hope's whispery voice deserves whole new article. 'Through the Devil Softly' is impressive and outstanding album.

every decade starts at xxx0 and ends xxx9, but this is one of big deals how to consider zero
(btw http://www.amazon.co.uk/Zero-Biography-Dangerous-Charles-Seife/dp/0285635948/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1254330027&sr=1-1)
.
I quite liked it, but it could have been so much better :)
I put all my hopes in their new material
(oh 'a' is so close to 's'... sorry)
afraid
I'm little bit afraid of this new album. I've grown up on Showbiz/Origin Of Symmetry, heavy riffs and pain, no poppy Queen meets R&B. Experimenting doesn't mean to try everything like Muse have probably thought. 'United States of Eurasia' is too kitschy and 'Uprising' is anti-inventive, so I'm afraid of the record. But I give them chance, they deserve it.
yeah
I think, that the reviewer is right, because this album is great, the best one from Mount Eerie discography
interesting
finally a great interview, I'm very glad, that Alex has been searching something hidden in every song and connecting it with her view of world. I liked that a lot
()
it's difficult to name the most favourite album, but if I had to do it, it would be ( ). For it's fragile depressive mood of disillusion, grief and pain. First listen to ( ) was introductory to a whole new space that is just white lighty vacuum.
But ágaetis byrjun is perfect as well
...
(oh it was posted before I started to write a text :( )
and I find them along with Low, My Bloody Valentine & Nirvana as the best group from the beggining of 90's.
I also recommend the THE GATHERING's version of "When The Sun Hits"
9/10
I love this record and for a long time it was my most lovely from Sigur Rós. "Von", "Hún Jord" or "Háfssol" are very important songs from the view of their following albums. I appreciate "Von" as their most challenging and experimental album rich on purity & sincereness
i like it
I love the idea of Shoegaze week. older SLOWCORE was really ultimate and well put together, so if they remain so top-notch, it would be my favourite week on DiS
i love it
I definitely love the new songs and I'm very interested in other 5 that are due for a download
my favourite (not just singles+b-sides)
1. Fever Ray - Keep The Streets Empty For Me
2. Marissa Nadler - Heart Paper Lover
3. Antony And The Johnsons - One Dove
4. Royksopp - True To Life
5. Asobi Seksu - Me & Mary
6. Telepathe - So Fine
7. Mono - Ashes In The Snow
ouch
hah, when somebody likes The Black Eyed Peas, I'm not interested in him. definitely. although it is all fools day :D
my favourite
my favourite from Radiohead. better than OK Computer, I think. It was created by many fears, depressions, pains from failing and falling down and it makes it so authentic, fragile and painful. You can hear every little qualm in every one second of this piece. I love it
10/10
for me surely for this magnificent piece of work.
I have written also my own review readable for the slovak/czech readers:
http://slaninka.blog.sme.sk/c/186477/Fever-Ray-Temne-emocie-chladnej-Svedky.html
(not just singles)
1. portishead - machine gun
2. m83 - highway of endless dreams
3. goldfrapp - clowns
4. fleet foxes - your protector
5. mogwai - batcat
6. nine inch nails - discipline
7. sigur ros - gobbledigook (or all alright)
8. get well soon - witches! witches! rest now in the fire
[9. deerhunter - agoraphobia
10. final fantasy - ultimatum]
Portishead!
1. Portishead - Third
2. M83 - Saturdays=Youth
3. Deerhunter - Microcastle/Weird Era Cont.
4. Sigur Rós - Med Sud...
5. Nine Inch Nails - The Slip
6. Goldfrapp - Seventh Tree
7. Fleet Foxes - Fleet Foxes
8. Bon Iver - For Emma, Long Ago
that's it. if there was a possibility to make top10, there would be:
9. Mogwai - The Hawk Is Howling
10. A Silver Mt. Zion - 13 Blues For Thirteen Moons
TVotR, Fleet Foxes and Bon Iver
I think, that Bon Iver, TV On The Radio and Fleet Foxes will be in top3. but not of them are artists I have voted for :)
great album
really original and interesting album. there's only one thing, that annoys me on it and it is the voice of the male singer. with this exception, it is great indie-pop and inteligent music. it's clear, that ratings are subjective, but i would give them 9/10
for those, who speak slovak or czech, here's my review

unfortunately, I was very disappointed after I found it on Spotify. hyped Pitchfork review was promising as well as many blogs speaking about the next-big-thing, not just one of this-year-popular-chillwave. but his simple view of music, distortion just for effect and effort to be too indie are more laughable than interesting. boredom & disappointment.
