Was a bit overworked, im glad someone else thinks so, I wasnt a massive fan of kid a, but hail seemed like an Lp based on 'Climbing up the walls'
I think I started listening to a lot of Stereolab when that Lp was about,(still do now!)
Someone said on the above statements that Kol may be thier most accessable record, I tend to agree. In Rainbows was far from a difficult listen with some "6music friendly" tracks
The main thing that sticks out for me with Kol is the lush choral quality of one or two of the tracks.

That Aphex remix is good, I agree with the Nirvana pick . Xs

Im one the "bellend's" that rather liked the Beach House LP and am surprised that it has that number next to it, but what gives. I love it, i love the Robyn Lp I loved the Pantha Du Prince and Holy Fuck LPs and TNP where they place in said list is fun yet academic.

That voting system is really beyond me would a DIS representative like to come round for coffee and biscuits to explain it to me? Its a shame about Interpol is it me or have they dropped the ball this year.

I liked what you did with both the Songbox and ISBIC alot. The “buy my record,see my gig”
idea is wicked, creative and timeless in an age of supposedly throwaway downloads.
