i can't tell if you think that italo disco is a recent emergence? also, i assumed that the jacket was a scorpio rising reference.
pretty abysmal stuff.
not 'dry on the ground'. what would that even mean? yeah.
Teebs, V.I.V.E.K, Jeremiah Jae, Blak Nite, D-Warrior - at Plug on the 18th of March. All for £4.
I agree that it's been a bit dry on the ground recently as far as local acts go.
Blood Sport burn kittens.
It reads like a parody of pseudo-intellectual journalism. I call it this because (in my opinion) the seemingly purposeful over-complexity of the language chosen hasn't been used to give further insight into the nature of the sound or quality of the music being discussed, and actually serves to obscure this information, along with the somewhat obscure points of reference.
On a more personal and admittedly contradictory note, I was pleasantly surprised to see the clip from Fallen Angels linked here. It's one of my favourite scenes from a film, ever. Simply mesmerising.
Really enjoyed reading. Reminded me of quite a few bands which I've been meaning to check out properly too.
Cheers for the mention. Couple of things here that I hadn't heard about actually, nice article.
more of these please.
not been this excited about an album for a while.
I can confirm, this is brilliant.
th' faith healers. awesome.
school of seven bells will be pretty ace too.
crocodiles are a bit average tbh.
great track too.
Rather than SebastiAn.
After reading this, I'll definitely try and make the effort.
can't say i was very impressed by telepathe though.
The production really doesn't suit them, and it hurt the Johnny Foreigner album too.
Sissy Hits was pretty much perfect, but since then the production has become substantially more glossy, and I just don't think that it suits them. My other criticism would be that I feel like Hey Everyone listens like a singles collection rather than a cohesive album. All in all, great fun, but I can't imagine myself listening to this in a years time. It all works much better live.
my latest novel are ace, didn't really think much of the week that was last time.
three trapped tigers completely owned this. crystal antlers were ok i guess, although i'm not their biggest fan.
good festivals are held in may when exams also happen.
great news about the sheffield date.
at least temporarily.
give it a rest, it's clearly shit.
holy state really do sound almost exactly the same as hot snakes don't they?
looking forward to seeing them in sheffield.
in fact, the majority of this is awful.
stop trying to do things other than music. thanks.
