I was at St Lukes that night and while she was entertaining she was also, in my opinion, entirely in the shadow of the brilliant Howe Gelb/Voice of Praise performance that night which really brought to life their fantastic album.

If memory serves she was also, again in my opinion, trying to be a jack of all trades, one minute on the guitar, the next on the drum stool and singing to various collages of electronic beats. While the ambition was admirable, I felt that it was all a bit lacking on focus and it didn't make much impact on myself or my mates.

Anyways, just my $.02 - I thought she was good, but a support slot on that evening seemed appropriate and I wasn't left "breathless".

. . . at least Geldof told him so when he got the opportunity.
