i really should
spellcheck before i hit reply!
i already have
a double gatefold version of kill em all that is 45rpm. its some limeted edition one from back in the day, fund it on a car boot sale bout 15 years ago for a quid. its worth lots more now :)
the new ones not as good
as the first one, its ok mind, i dont like the sound on the vocals though. its been leaked a while but it stil lhasnt grown on me proper
they played a new one
at atp, seemed ok and not at all liek the so divided album
the new
albert album is good, not wuite as good as the first but still ok
sammy the sheep
had never ventured out of his field, one day he saw a gap in the fence and dispite the baa's from his mates went for it and escaped, off he went , seeing things hed never saw in his life until he met , you guessed it, a big bad wolf. he asked the wolf for directions back to his field and the wolf pointed him in the direction of the farm, little did the sheep know the wolf wanted to eat him, as they walked along side by side the wolf licked his lips, just as he was gonan bite the sheep BANG the wlf had been shot! a man walked over while the sheep hid, he walked over to the man hoping to get help from him now his wolf friend had been killed, BAAAAAAA said the sheep, BAAAAAAAANG went the mans gun! the sheep was dead, he did however make a nice mutton chop
i like the
cover version :)
if i could box anything
id box up the article above and hide it thus improving my chances of winning this cd greatly
it dont look
that way, i thought i read that was just for the itunes release? or sumthin?
might be a bit
hard that one ?
sigur ros
have played before for definate, and im pretty sure square pusher has. id like to see a mike patton curated atp, hed choose some mental bands!
YEA! its his best
since midnite vultures and i loved stickin the stickers everywhere on the cover, mine now has a very camp looking beck blowing bubbles with a sailors hat on haha with big massive fake lips
whens his new album out?
i read somewhere he had finished this with danger mouse months ago! and still no announcment of even a title?
i was at that
debut gig 2 years ago, they really surprised me as id never heard them before that gig, just went out of curiosity to hear jack play with a good drummer , might try get me some tix for this
oh dont worry
the usual yearly crop of shite bands will make it to reading too, they always do
fucck the fees haha ill just
buy mine from the union face value
that news article is misleading!
the tickets arnt just under 20 pounds, more like 15 pounds, which is more reasonable
just under 20 pounds??
for a gig at the academy 2?? thats reeeeeeeeeeeally expensive!!
haha
i wonder if he can still dance like he used to? when i saw him in leeds about 15 years ago (maybe more) he took off on a jet pack at the end, its so laughable now but at the time my 10 year old self thought it was cool haha
ill bet this nme one
really pissed him off then http://www.nme.com/news/godspeed-you-black-emperor/34219 haha
why re-issue it?
it was still available????
yea i love both
bands but half as good as godpeed... live is AMAZING still.
its a shame
as good as ASMZ are (i really like them)i still prefer godspeed... , ASMZ arent half as good live
i used to like autechre
but then it seems they have just gone weird to my ears? i havnt liked the last couple of albums they have put out but i used to really love the others, they lack what 'tune' (hehe) they used to have in the music now
im gonan have to see portishead on the saturday
as im not missing thurston on friday! this fest has become clash fest! hope i can get a saturday portishead wristband
its ok
has a good sound system in there, it is the worse of the 4 academy venues tho, but still it could be worse. les savy fav was excellent in club academy and so was broken social scene
ever seen a guy say goodbye
to a shoe before? haha
i want tix
for the manc one too
they need play manchester
again, i aint seen them here for like 8 years or something stupid liek that
so have i :)
its goood
they need to play
manchester again, i havnt seen them since like 7 years ago! grrrrrr
i had to sell my tickets
for this saturday night :(
he was ace last year in
manchester, he does a good cover of guided by voices' postal blowfish :)
yea i have that
it came in a hoover bag too :) haha some of them are really weird though, some are really good though so it makes up for it :) i like the mogwai one
i dont get
why they dont just release stuff on their own label??
the twilight sad are playing
manchester on 7th of july @ picadilly hotel :) my bands supporting , nothing to do with why im posting this hehe but seriously they are good :)
i didnt know
the g-mex was now called central, i go passed there all the time and ive never noticed
i know what he
looked like, so your wrong :p
GLASGOW HAHA
HAHA
they are also playing
in glasgow, why does noone know this?
i just dont wantthem to
ruin my memories of a good band! id hate to go watch them live again as they will probably be shit and spoil all my illusions of them being one of the greatest live bands ive ever seen. their gig at the manchester academy in 94/95 was one of the best gigs i hav ever had chance to see.
this guy
supported radioheadin blackpool last year, he was ok, i was rather sloshed though when he was on, thankfully i sobered up a bit for radiohead haha
i already
have my tickets for the manchester one, should be good :)
