that was a proper good read phil.

i look forward to more of your work.

also, if you're a fan of getting so deliriously drunk you hallucinate

a trip to The Apple is a must. it's a cider bar on a barge (!) and has about ten scrumpies on tap, with another thirty or forty bottled varieties of the stuff.
this article is pretty bang on. nice one.

a little google time found out:

"bwin currently sponsor AC Milan, Real Madrid, and FC Slovan Liberec. They are also the main sponsors of the Portuguese football league."

if this was recorded on the weekend, it would've been AC Milan vs Bologna, which Milan won 1-0, Clarence Seedorf scoring the only goal. THERE.

cookie's let himself go a bit hasn't he?

can't even tell which one he is.

because no one is going to look through all forty-nine pictures?

it's a waste of time and server space, especially given how badly designed the In Photos bit is anyway.

forty nine pictures?!

or, uh,

vote for pitchfork tv over these vincent moon rip-off merchants.

oh what you were there??

and i spent most of the night on my own? awful times.

yep.

really bad.

ULTIMATE POWER!

true.

i was horrifically drunk when i posted this. have you heard the bobcat goldthwait bit on it? it's amazing.

but seriously

he had a kid with ellen degeneres

his 'blood on our hands' remix was his only good one.

apart from that he was fucking awful.

LET DOWN

basically going to wait for this to load up so i can get to the solo.

he's already messed up a note, sounds like when i play it.

..

is that american mathy antlers?

holy fuck.

intimate?

the place is like a baby arena.
this reminds me of when muse played the royal albert hall this year and said in an interview that it's "nice to play in smaller venues again".
?!?!?!

oh, FINALLY

..

why?

ZING

flux was really good.

but what the fuck is it with bloc party's videos? they're getting worse and worse.
i think it started when kele did that song with chemical brothers - that video was also utter pony.

what did you go for?

i've been keeping an eye on your photos for like, a year now. these are the best i've seen.

looks like holly's got a new lens!

nice work.

what was dumb about speaking out against violence?

fuck who his audience was, what's shameful/wrong/embarrassing/pointless about speaking out against senseless violence?

fucking hell.

he literally did nothing wrong here.
stop being a twat simply because you don't like him.

o'death?!

the bowerbirds?!¬

this might actually be worth a look-in now zach's cancelled.

aye,

how very inclusive and knowing. bleh.

yeah!

has that film got a uk release yet? i'm going to check as soon as i've posted this, but i'm asking all the same.
i found that the beefed-up performances of the stuff from the first record were worth seeing, but i never really dug on the second record. like, at all.
wish it was still a hawk and a hacksaw playing with him too.

yeah.

obvs you know about his history with freaking out, but i don't remember seeing a performance of his where it looked like he 'tried'.
the bored look is still in vogue, it seems.

eh,

'the flying club cup' was breakdown two waiting to happen.
and good god, that 'cheap magic inside' dvd almost induced one in me.
hope he comes back with stuff closer to the gulag orkestar. listened to it on vinyl the other day for the first time in ages and fell in love again.

i reckon the one with Electioneering on it is best.

oh, hang on a sec..

you were expecting them to be shit.

you came home and decided with yourself that they were shit.
quelle surprise?

blood red shoes innit

:'(

beirut headlining?!?!?

jo and danny: WUH?

i love this band.

mr. understanding is a massive tune.

are...

you.. serious..?

we get it jamie.

congrats.

this is a marvellous record

and a marvellous review.
