i'd never heard of this
until last year. my driving instructor went and said it was amazing
wish i'd seen them a couple of years ago
i liked the first 2 albums. the 3rd was appalling though. heard the new song, it sounds alright

possibly give it a 7/10. im off to see them on saturday for the 3rd time, they're a dcent live band and the album is decent enough, nothing gorundbreaking but good for what it is.

The three songs they did on Jools Holland all sounded exactly the same

Seems a very harsh review to me
Not their best but much better than a 5. 13 albums in, they're unlikely to win new fans. Look at The Strokes, these days they try new things and get slated for it by long time Strokes fans.
You can't please all the people all of the time.
Personally, I like the album, I'd give it a 7/8.
