stuff always needs looking at more carefully, but default position: doing something > doing nothing
just the one
super furry animal?
i had forgotten about hard-fi
totally
in fairness, though
that is mainly because you're a bit of a tool.
yeh
but give it a few years
i reckon it's most effective
on types of goods you don't know a great deal about, more so if you're in a hurry.
and to promote things with novelty value like new chocolate bars.
the more categories the advertisers can get to fit into these categories, the better they'll do.
since i saw franz at alexandra palace
i've said no more big gigs. expensive and crap. don't think i'm even going to go see interpol even though i love them, i don't think i'd enjoy it.
big gigs are gash
don't bother. you'll be at uni in england in a year and a bit anyway. gigs galore, if you choose the right place.
it's lolable
but quite quietly. he's just taking the piss again. leave him be.
wish he was called that
then he could join towers of london if he ever got kicked out of babyshambles
he's put on a lot of weight!
i suppose he was only a kid when silverchair started tbf
and then he
looks at his watch
he's on time
yet again...
good review ben!
shame i'm not back for their april gig. sure there'll be more though.
'it's not like i'm going around deliberately polluting the world'
no, it's nobody's fault, it's just 'the way things are'.
this country needs to grow some fucking balls.
'was I that much of a twat when I was 18?'
sounds like you still are.
after a peak
headlines are getting worse again :-P
like the picture, don't like the logo
good call
'No-one can argue that they continued for anything but money'
that's a fucking horrible thing to say. i'm not a manics obsessive by any means but that's self-evidently not true. they love music.
but yes
you are right in essence. it was just how i felt about each incident as an immediate reaction. at least this has some humour and isn't just some yob cunt.
towers of london destroyed £3000 worth of lighting
and jeopardised ARU's gig license. neither were the case here.
well
he did go to Oxford
don't be
you can twist the story and probably get money out of it
despite myself
i think that's quite rock and roll. unlike, say, the towers of london fucking up the lights at ARU.
lily allen the new eminem?
'And told me that my tape taught 'em to swear-
What about the make-up you allow your 12-year-old daughter to wear?'
wut?
no stinkerton?
DiS reports on loads of people
it's not an indication that they like them. see: ToL, Mika
the 'they' bit is a tad misleading
it's clearly been put together by a few people at a record company. and most right-minded LGBand/orT types probably think it's a gash idea. maybe.
looking at something as 'just a pop record'
is implicitly to have low expectations of it. if one has to have low expectations of music to justify listening to it at all, then it deserves shit reviews from sites like this.
it's their third album
just their second on a major label. it's not often i get to say things like this, so listen.
good message tbh
you can buy it in bulk together and save money

'When stores started only accepting records with bar codes, that was a HUGE issue for a lot of small labels, getting registered and having access to bar code numbers when you're just running a label spare-time from your garage.'
anyone want to trawl for *that* thread?
