I
really love this record, easily top 5 so far this year, definite progression from 'Plague Park' also, good stuff!
having
looked over the years release lists recently, I obviously missed this one! Brilliant news, loved the first two albums, wasn't too sure of Songs III, but will defiantly be picking this up, yet again, cheers DiS.
well
done jimi! love this album, has been one of this years evergreens. was v upset about it missing the dis list, but glad they gave this piece to you! keep up the good start etc. etc.
Having eaten a few dates and philosophised...
1. Times New Viking/Rip It Off
2. Hauschka/Ferndorf
3. The Kills/Midnight Boom
4. Flying Lotus/Los Angeles
5. The Walkmen/You & Me
6. Grouper/Dragging a Dead Deer Up a Hill
7. HEALTH/DISCO
8. Atlas Sound/Let the Blind Lead Those Who Can See but Cannot Feel.

No Age and Cold War Kids got boring. Why? and Fuck Buttons grew on me. Surprises were; Crystal Castles, Portishead and Deerhoof.

is it personal or just natural dislike?

so dirty...
i want to lick it
erm...
i wonder how many oxfam finger clicks it took for you to think this was newsworthy? instead of writing this you could have been working on your month in records feature, which i've had a go at replicating, obviously without the w i t . . . .
this
has made my day!
you already have
mate? what?

my album of the year, can't see anything beating this, love et love.
this album...
is utter rubbish 2/10 at best

cold war kids
easily the best album of last year, i can't find a fault with it, have heard almost everything decent from last year and it wipes the floor with the lot. sorry and all.
