I don't get why its OK to be melodramatic about remote stuff like the Bible and not about the everyday - thats Simon's thing. i think hes great. OK so Book doesnt get you but if you were initially lured in by the Bad Seeds link you won't be disappointed by his other stuff. There's a song he plays live called Snipes which is as beautiful and compelling as anything by Cave or Oldham.
