Technical Ecstacy
is actually not that bad and Never Say Die has it's moments too.......
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is my favourite though...
it's a cool record
child of Disco Volante...
well done to them
I say
Ghinzu
cool band also
no shit
.
^
wrong
...
Soulwax are ok, but certainly no where near the emotional quality of dEUS... Girls in Hawaii are pretty good....
but it's all about dEUS and the many great bands that orbit them.... Zita Swoon, The Love Substitutes, Pox, The Rudy Trouve Septet, IH8 Camera, Vive La Fete, Mauro Pawlowski & The Grooms, (Evil Superstars, Gore Slut, Kiss My Jazz, Dead Man Ray RIP) and the other cousins like Sukilove, Millionaire, Creature With The Atom Brain, Ow, Tip Toe Topic, I Love Sarah etc etc....
^
This...
Also check out www.heavenhotel.be Rudy Trouve's record label...
That would be
Theme From Turnpike!!!!!!!!!
Indeed I will be there, quite possibly the band that have had the most effect on my musical development and obsession with Belgian music...
We released this album www.myspace.com/pawlowskitrouveward and album by the three dEUS guitarist's...
I would go with Via myself
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUpGSnZmDIY&feature=PlayList&p=4446BECB0047AE39&index=16
always remember the
Kerrang! Black album review 'You can Akshully hear Jason Newkid's bass'... Yeah, and Justice and the disappearing bass guitar.....
me too
Am so gutted I missed this....
erm
If nothing else we are pretty darn independant.
No Priest?
No Motorhead?
Jeez!
YYYYYYEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!
I'm there dude
dEUS/Evil Superstars/Millionaire
Zita Swoon/Pox/Sukilove/Ow/Dead Man Ray/Gore Slut/Kiss My Jazz/The Rudy Trouve Septet/Mauro & The Grooms.....
A GREAT music scene, dEUS did a great 'Turnpike' that night.......
David Cronenberg's Wife - Single
is excellent
Nice!
Am looking forward to buying the album...
Nice guy
great music
Anton is
actually a really nice guy with a lot of great things to say... I interviewed him once and we spoke for 2 and a half hours, so long that the tape ran out... But yeah, he is a nice guy, but if you poke him with a stick don't expect him not to bite...
looks like they will
be playing Brixton Windmill on 28th April with Sukilove
good band
unpretentious and just good... good at being good.
I interviewed him once
and he is a lovely, intelligent, reasonable and coherant guy....... We spoke so long the tape ran out...
^ this
I think I must be one of the only people who thinks Zeitgeist is actually ok........
Corgan isn't that old, why should he not want to continue making records...
If anything it is the audience who are complacent and lazy... People seem to just want nostalgia and increasingly as they get older they stop buying records and stop wanting to be the slightest bit challenged by something new.... I have a lot of friends like this.
there was a guy in Staines
that looked like Tad Doyle that always wore an American football shirt. We called him Tad.
Excellent review
I really really hope that it is as good as that review........ A wonderful band........
now do I buy
the normal one or the special edition one?
Nice interview
I really like Eels, especially Souljacker and Blinking Lights....
Jeez
phew!
Single of the Century!
That's what I say!
In an entirely unbiased manner of course.........
Please Kill Me
Oral History of Punk
Wicked...
