yeah,
i meant to say that too
.
i remember clicking play expecting a Drum Gets A Glimpse feel from the album, after their 'chilled' claim. huess i got it the wrong way round, this is blistering.
and billy, she might have been in to you, missed oportunity man ;)
I hope
that The Cribs will make a psych-noise-progfolk-black metal triple cd-r next, cos if they want to distinguish themselves from the pack, they can't make the same record again and again. and i do like The Cribs. but i wish they would shut up sometimes.
.
hey millionaire, thanks for that link.
i'm listening to it right now utterly shitfaced, and i like it a lot.
.
and despite the sort of bummed out review, i still wish i could have gone yo it :(

towards the end
.
na, he's from Bray, near enough Dublin i'm pretty sure.
I'm more shocked
By the photo at the top of this article.
it is like the Tollund Man.
All i care about
Is the video for The Hustler
Would be majorly pissed off
But Dublin turned into a city-style-ATP for a week
i thought Brightblack Morning Light were pretty good, though i was eatin crisps and that drowned them out a bit. also Robin Williamson (magic), The Books, and then Grizzly Bear and Subtle on the same night, which i'm still smiling at.
Its good, buuuut
225 bucks, my ass
looks like Dour or Pukkelpop again, now thats value for money
plus Laois is a kip
.
my ma was singing along to Bros yesterday
my dad asked me who it was, said it was 'pretty good'
high praise indeed from 50somethings
.
it hurts me i didn't get to see him
this sounded incredible, and Person Pitch is ridiculously good.
Chilled Liars
makes me shake
drum gets a glimpse was pretty great alrite.
.
this is the only record i've really taken to so far this year. it really is an album of two distict halves as well. they are not at drum's not dead level yet, but hopefully they'll get there.
spring hall convert is just bliss though.
good review
Painful
Painful to watch, painful to listen to, feel a little ashamed i watched most of it too.
what was with all the bad vibes and slagging off?
and the script was appalling, i only heard swearing, not laughing.
badly organised, badly informed, uninteresting bands.
cock
.
saw them in glasgow last year, really impressed, if slightly numbed at the end. brain bleedin drummer who had huuuge hair worth the money alone.
i love belgium
get this
we bought 27 cans for just over 8 euro
and it was decent stuff 5%
none o that 21p 2% tesco value shite
Harsh review
Haven't heard this song yet though
good dancers, old dirt farmer, and spirt dragged the pack are fine fine songs
and Luke Steele has a good ear for melody
cant wait
tickets still haven't come yet though
i've paid for everything flights etc. and its still worked out cheaper than two days at shitty oxegen down the road
Good on Liars
this has really shocked me in the best possible way.
Dublin Date
any news on that much postponed dublin gig? supposed to be in april. i'm not holding my breath
at least test-icicles
showed up for this show, even if they were awful. twice now they've cancelled Dublin dates at VERY short notice. Patience is growing thin
Bastard
come to dublin
.
i had to leave during maximo park for the sake of my sanity. that frontman is an asshole, the music was even more boring (except grafitti which was quite good) and the keyboard player looked like a right twat. whole gig pretty poop. dublin's alright though.
i like this very much
it charms, relaxes, and excites me. i still get tingles when i listen to it. the singer doesn't annoy me either, strangely, as i dont like david byrne. in fact i rather like his 'singing'.
I agree its bloated
Some songs are slightly boring, like killing lies, also. The first seven songs more than make up for it though.
Juicebox's bass riff is straight from BRMC's Stop though.
P.S. Flackcaptain sounds like an elitist snob to me.
i love guillemots,
bought this on 10inch as the artwork is rather nifty, thought the songs were a bit dodgy though. It might grow on me. I still love em because they're selling for crazy prices. 149 pounds! i paid seven euro. Thats christmas paid for.
