F.I.L.T.H

(Good filth, but still filth)

Music Warriors

reminds me of when tatu cancelled their wembley gig. i say steam ahead - fortune always favours the brave

where is coventry?

this is the dumbest tour schedule since spice girls announced a 400 day residency at the o2. dumb.dumb.dumb.

Fugees dates: tickets probably already gone

Worked on the MOBOs where 'Ms. Hill' was performing, the general consensus was that she was a complete twat. However i do think she is a very talented woman.

Dimebag riff used in Nickelback song

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Ain't No Easy Way

You tried putting this tune on in the car yet? Superb on a sunny day in Sheffield! Gonna go buy it......

Editors - The Back Room

Saw Editors at Glastonbury...................watching Echo & The Bunnymen. Guess who was on after.........Interpol! Ha ha. Wonder if they made it to New Order too!

Listen to Tom Vek - he's much better than Editors.

Nothing But Green Lights

You and i, gonna drive ourselves outta this town, in a 1989, black, mercades benz!

What an incredibly underated legend!

Up the Vek!

Arctic Monkeys tour

The Dodgems are shite - don't bother. Really, don't bother.

The Rakes - Capture/Release

Yawn. What we are witnessin is like 90s Brit-Pop hype - The Rakes will be the equivilant to Menswear in 10 years time - like Daydreamer, they'll have a rather good signature tune in Retreat but are generally pants.

Appears to me they're just pretty intelligent blokes who have the ability to form a band and create average, radio friendly indie music to dance to. I'm not usually opposed to this but in The Rakes case i'll make an exception.

And sod this 'possibly being the best thing of 2005' - that really is absolute bollocks! Can't be arsed to comment further.

Tom Vek - C-C (You Set The Fire In Me)

Sod that, Vek to me is quality. I think his songs have hidden depths. The parts that people might mistake as 'boring' are infact quite intense and add to this awkward and uneasy song. Meet Tom Vek and you might understand where he's coming from... People either get it or they dont. Im one of the lucky ones who does!

PS. As a huge Beck fan i really can't see any significant similarities.

Arctic Monkeys - Five Minutes With Arctic Monkeys

Im at Uni here and gettin fed up of this Arctic Monkey buzz. I really don't like them. Was forced into dancing to 'Fake Tales of San F' in a club the other night. Not a pleasant experience. However, they are good live, have a good set of fans and should do well with those stop start pop songs.

You have been warned!
