Oh
and to give away The Slip for free? Ballsy!
NIN
Yeah, seems to me that they do have a large, dedicated cult following. It just doesn't seem to extend into the land of listmakers!
No huge loss - Trent's work rate and the artistic effort that goes into not only the music but the accompanying artwork, is phenomenal and will be enjoyed by those who care to listen regardless of which lists it may or may not be included in.
The Gutter Twins
Saturnalia may be my favourite album of the year
Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral/Hurt
Also what sarah said by death cab - "Love is watching someone die" A bucket kicker no doubt!
Lad rock
Couldn't agree more! Completely bland, mindless music.
Very inspiring
He is certainly ahead of the game in distiribution terms! I was expecting a new album today, but for free!? Kudos to you sir.
I'm really liking the album aswell, and it's still growing on me!
Me too!
us NIN fans are a lucky bunch at the minute! Altho i'm still waiting on that ghosts cd...
Smashing Pumpkins for me aswell
All-round bad gig :(
I really like it!
Maybe nothing groundbreaking, but tis a choon and constantly growing on me!
I love how prolific trent is atm - there's new stuff coming out every few weeks!! Very refreshing.
Danny Carey
Surely one of the best drummers out there
Ozzy Osbourne
Staying Alive
"All aboard the disco train!" *shudder*
Doesn't really sound like tool
...but i find that quite refreshing.
It's experimental and his voice sounds very dirty but there are some great songs on the album.
I'd recommend drunk with power, or Rev 22:20 if you want a taster.
Anyone
managed to download it from the site yet? I got the first 9 tracks from a torrent, but would like to buy the $10 version!
Grrr
this is becoming annoying! I may still stay up all night trying to get it to work tho....
hmmm
i've had a go at downloading the free one, without much success. I get to here:
https://store.nin.com/cart/quantity
then it all goes a bit pearshaped!
wow!
I'll let you know if i'm able to get hold of it
Johnny Cash
Hurt
The Feeling
just piss me off
To be fair
i saw them at reading too and really enjoyed it. To be fair it wasn't entirely their fault - it wasn't a great crowd and the arena was barely half full.
I also saw arcade fire at notts arena! I don't think i shall be returning there...
seconded
.
oops
that should be HYPERPOWER!
I love writing that :)
