Took out

the fucking best parts.
LOSE.

YES

Shepherd's Bush was a great show.

How can anyone hat Ben Folds? Only dead people can hate a man who's so fucking talented.

NOW TEMPTED

...

Same old

same old.

oh totally

The font makes me want to punch THINGS.

I'm pretty much

going to Latitude now.

FALL ON ME!!!

For fucksake, that's like my favourite R.E.M song...

yes

please

also

Black Hole is shit. Nothing fucking happens!

The

Jeffrey Brown book he was talking about was Be A Man and it is indeed pretty lol.

Surprised to see Madman in there, what an amazing feat of graphic art that is. Horribly underrated but totally gorgeous none the less.

Also, they should of filmed it at Gosh as...well...Gosh>Forbidden Planet.

I heart this band so much.

Totally needs more exposure.

This

band leave such an unpleasant taste in my mouth, I think it's the fact that there's nothing to off set against Johnny's voice? I dunno, but something leaves me cold. I'm more looking forward to Jordan/Morgan and Mark's new band Past Lives http://www.myspace.com/pastlivesmusic

AWKWARD STATION AWKWARD CIRCUSSSS

yeah fucking lovely band.

Disappointing

Hummer's amongst the best they've done.
GOOD ONE GUYS.

Y-E-B-O-R-O-B-O

for teh win.

Les Savy at 13?

WHATEVER GUYS!!!!

BLAH BLAH BLAH

The deluxe version of the Blue Album costs about £20 and most people have the standard edition so that's not economically viable. The only reason I brought the deluxe edition was because I worked at HMV at the time and the discount knocked it down to a reasonable price. The Pinkerton ones are hard to find officially because the singles have been discontinued. I just think it would make a nice package.

Course you could just download them from http://weerez.com/news/ for free anyway, so whatever, DUDE.

Yay

I was expecting a shed load of =w= demos of songs we already love, so the inclusion of Buddy Holly doesn't affect me either way as I can quite happily press the 'skip' button.
Still, b-side album PLEASE!

foals'

demos > rerecorded stuff.

and in fairness

there's two vocalists and two lyricists. Jordan's stuff is equally and if not better than Johnny's stuff. The magic of the band was that they'd work so well together, almost as if it's a conversation or two sides to a personality. Young Machetes was the complete opposite and Jordan mostly reduced to backing vox.
Whatever...

mmmm

London WAS pretty rubs...

BIG FUCKING LOLGASM RIGHT THERE

Not

as gutted as I thought I was. I mean I could be a cunt here and say that Young Machete was pretty much a Johnny solo album, so I'm sorta unsurprised, really.
Still...fucking sucks.

ICA

He's also playing at the ICA at 2pm on the 20th of October as part of the ICA's amazing comic event ComICA...

With all his autumn London gigs sold out this is an extra special opportunity to meet New York anti-folk singer-songwriter and comic-book artist Jeffrey Lewis. Jeffrey will be playing an hour-long intimate, illustrated acoustic set with Helen Schriener, followed by a conversation with Everett True, publisher of Plan B magazine,

Also appearing: Josie Long winner of if.comeddies' Best Newcomer Award 2006 for her debut show Kindness And Exuberance. Josie tells obsessive and ridiculous stories, full of innocent wonder and loveable madness.

This is an extra Opening Day event for Comica 07 in association with Plan B magazine. Please note the early afternoon time slot.

happy emoticon...

Pfft

Personally I think it should be a higher grade, but then my love for the band is immense and I really, really, really do love this album. I think it's my second fave after Go Forth </controversial>

Harumph

Whatever guys, Pig was nice but I'm still betting the album will be a classic turd. Why? Because my hopes and dreams have been dashed by the last two albums.

I've been listening to loads of Weezer B-Sides recently. Fuck. Yeah. Sugar Booga's bloody good.

I was

going to come to this...then I got a Sonic Youth ticket. So no dice! Sadly, as this does look pretty fupping awesome, yes!

not being a dick

about things, but this guy saids that 'oh the majority of the people were happy' but by the posts on this site and the event's myspace page saids otherwise. for every "good job" there's about 3 or 4 "what a shambles" posts.

if you're utterly devastated about field day and want a refund, you could contact your local trading standards centre and see what can be done. might be worth a shot and at least that way you'll know where you stand, legally.

http://www.tradingstandards.gov.uk/

course nothing might come of it, but worth a shot?

Don't use Seetickets then....

well, for the London date at least...

ONE WAS A RAT

HAGHIOAHGOHAOTGIOATBLA

ahhhh this is great news!

I was nervous that maybe this release would slip under the wire and not get the full exposure it deserves. Well done to Wichita for signing this incredible band and also the one that taught Bloc Party how to write songs.

they're

both under the Warners banner aren't they?

:(

JUST STOP ALREADY!

Though, yes that Pig demo is really quite nice.

Really

wanted to go to this but tickets were close to £20, then there's train fares, drinks, food, yadda yadda. I love David Cross a lot, 'It's not funny,' gets a good spinning every coupla months, but I'm not going to fork out £40 on a night out to see him at the 100 Club...

i thought that...

not a bad thing, though i do like the electronica aspects of Kid A and Amnesiac.

Bangers 'N' Mash could be mental...

unsure...

if i like this or not, but it's not as atrocious as i first thought. nice enough, have to see what the rest is like?

eeep!

Danana vs Last train at 12.25. Can it be done? Probably not actually :(

anyyyyy

idea what time Dananana...are on tonight? Gotta think about last train, innit.

they

had an E.P out...

last year...perhaps someone's getting confused?

bollocks

I like his solo stuff. Pah! Buncha haters.

ONE WAS A PIPER!

ONE WAS A RAT!

Oh seriously not long now.

Interpol

in bad song title shocker! Oh no, wait...
Public Pervert, Take You On A Cruise, yadda yadda yadda.

I hope this will be nothing short than amazing!

£6 with P+P!!!

I

seriously cannot wait to get this. I've listend to sixth sense so much the last few weeks. Damn Amazon Marketplace with it's cheap yet slow service *scowl*

tempted

but tis a lot for mogwai :(

:O !!!!!!

the brakes

are awesome so shut the fuck up!

booking

the motherfucking day off work for this!

should be siiiiiiiick.

at the end of the track?

i still prefer the sxsw version and the demo. still nice enough innit.
