...watching muse the other night was REALLY tough. Don't know how I got through it. Don't really think you can compare a Killers gig with a Muse gig...

...be a naysayer, but I this gig left me disappointed. The glitz and novelty was exciting for the first ten minutes or so, but it then just became annoying. I mean, a bunch of tossers dressed as elves or aliens on stage dancing like twats and waving torches around for the WHOLE gig? Irritating. Wayne Coyne going on and on and on between each song as if he thought he was some kind of evangelist? Laughable. And getting the audience to sing happy birthday to some member of his stage crew who I really didn't give a shit about? Nauseating. I thought he was taking the piss to start with, but then I realised he is the most earnest, boring, irony-free man I have ever listened to. I wished they'd played more tunes but I was so fed up I left early.

Any tour dates yet does anyone know?

...more people haven't mentioned the difference in sound quality. Why on earth would I pay the equivalent amount of money for downloads when I can get a much highly quality of sound from a CD?

I'm getting on a bit, but in the old days it was ALL about the sound quality, no one seems to give a shit anymore.

And even if 5 years from now you could fit as many WAV quality files on an ipod than 128mpegs now, I'd still prefer having a physical CD. Oh, and I like trains too.

...i'm just massively disappointed with Black Holes and looking for any excuse to dis it. Fed up with all the "ooh, it's amazing; their best album ever, blah blah" hyperbole. It's not, it's pop drivel. That Keane rip-off of a tune, Starlight, is on fucking XFM again right now, and I hate it. bring back the rachmaninov.

..thick cunt. It's just reinforced my opinion that Muse have lost all sense of subtlety and direction in their music. I can't believe Bellamy subscribes to this half-baked cliched conspiracy tosh. I bet he thinks there were no moon landings either. And I thought someone who could write Absolution and Origin might be a grown-up.

Expect more "Starlight" in the future and less "Newborn". I'm going home to chuck my copy of "Black Holes..." and its SHITE early-eighties pink floyd cover in the bin.

...of the last 6 years for Cornell. The solo album Cornell did with Eleven was simply awesome, imaginative and diverse. Audioslave tracks, on the other hand, are a thoroughly disappointing crock of shit. Can't wait for his (solo) new track for the new Bond film...
