.
they had the whole album streaming on their MySpace for a day or something
privk
prick
Does
DiS want to do a competition to give away free tickets to this??? please as I can't afford it.
Lets forget
the hype, the skins performance, the TV ads, the NME tour & everything else you could hate them for, the problem with this album is that I've been listening to some of these songs for about two years, I just can't be bother with this as an album.
a)
rock bottom
/\
yep
or
the ones that say "FAG"
Are
you joking?
weak
I saw them once, the equipment kept packing in, so they just gave up, pretty disappointing really, they really could have tried harder, the nature of they sound is that they could have improvised
that
wasn't actualy 'laugh out loud' but rather a terrible piece of music jounalism
yes...
please please please....
This
is amazing!
I
thought there was four of them now...
yes
looking forward to this!!!
what am I doing? I have 5000 words to write!
x
,
I'm pretty sure they should have a coma in there...
Yeah
the lastest album was a disappointment but I think it really tells the story of why they split, it's got two styles, Fisher's acoustic stuff & then Tom ever more increasing electro stuff (Rhysmix) & unlike the first two albums where these were amazingly fused together it didn't work on the third, the band were going in two opposite directions so it's not surprising, is a shame though, they were one of my favorite bands. On the note of Didz leaving I doubt it had any effect musically but pratically because Ben was forced to play as well as sing it meant that Tom & Dan took up more & more vocal duties which early in their career worked nicely in moderation eg some of the Bsides or Into My Arms weren't so good when they were on every other track.
I am sad about this
On one last note the Head EP which was limited to 1000 copies was really good, much better than Make This Your Own, with songs sounding more like early Bsides or instumental stuff from thier second album. Check those songs out for their swan songs
xx
I
bought this today, on first listen it still doesn't come close to '...Faults' but fingers crossed it'll grow on me.
basically
the Twang = shit.
there will always be shit.
but if you scratch a little deeper you get to the good stuff.
*I could wait
...
5
years of the Twang? I doubt wait that long...
On
the same day as this is annouced I get an add on MySpace...
I saw them when they toured with ¡Forward, Russia! & they were pretty good.
The
Academy 2 in Bristol is shit also, it's a corridor almost.
I
cant wait to see them at Camden Crawl!
They
have remade the video this time, it's the same except more money has been spent on it. Great.

I
saw them about four years ago when I was like 16! The song is ok, but I think this review is a little generous.
it
sounds just like there last one...
I
haven't seen the video for this & I still like it!
Gloves
does sound almost the same as Count In Fives...
I
hate this
I'm in between
sorry...
the
65daysofstatic Rmx is so good!
...
‘The Past is a Grotesque Animal’ is actually amaxing!
...
on top of buckingham palace playing the national anthem? say no more...
I
love it
guilty pleasure
it's over before you can realise it's shit, this makes it amaxing!
fair enough...
review, I was pretty disappointed by this as I love both the other albums. It seems they are trying to go in two different directions both of which are wrong! I would just about give it a six.
me too
it should look amaxing too as the second side is Tom Russia's art work!
I
Listened to some of this on myspace, it sounds pretty good
...
both the coopers previous efforts have been amazing, this song is not only rubbish but for me takes a tiny bit away from them. New record lable, photo shoots where the band have all been styled & comercial sounding singles sadly stinks of sell out to me.
why
is he saying this. it seems all a bit pointless...
