"Teen Dreams" from their last great EP it's a 10/10 song
and probably would not have been a bad idea to have included it in this album.

Sweden song is in 5th in my fave top5 :)
1.Cyprus (eurodance at their best)
2.Denmark (good pop song)
3.France (some very good moments in this popdance song)
4.Estonia (very good voice)
5.Sweden (mostly becaude of the last-minute of "contemporary-lol- dance" part)
It seems easy to come to the conclusion that this album has several points of contact with the "Teen Dream" and that some people are just saying it is merely a collection of B sides of the previous record. But this kind of vision proves to be limited and superficial - proves at least that the record was not properly listen (or often enough). It seems to me this new songs have obvious developments in the production and some concern in the introduction of some melodic details, instead, for example, the simplified construction of a hit-single ("norway", "zebra"). For me this is anything but a retrograde step.
Keane aren't reinventing the wheel here
but then, I don't listen to Keane for edgy experimentation or 'pushing sonic envelopes' etc. I listen to Keane to get melodic pop thrills. And all their singles delivered that for me -
there aren't many more pop bands that can be at this level.
very special record indeed
the available remixes are ace as well.
Great list & I wish u very success in Quietus
I hope DiS continues this column for a long time to come.
Great review & album
They revealed their mature and introspective side. This is also a very enjoyable emotional experience - as soon as the synths enter in our ears, the nostalgia slowly filling our soul.
OMG this Blouse video it's sooo amazing
Great band also.
Chapel Club - ‘Surfacing’ (Loog)
