I'm sorry but

The Killers have sold millions of albums. They are not best known for an advert at all.

Blimey!

For a second then I thought you'd make it all of the way to the end of an article on the Kaisers without referencing their debut single. I was wrong.

last time i checked

lily allen shifted a few units too.

it's this Saturday

NOTE: I said 'DiS picks' rather than 'the whole line-up' which is available via a link.

note:

we're predicting 'bigger' and 'better' things for them in 2007.

not necessarily who will BE big, just those who will be BIGGER.

think of it as a pre-season almanac where you can find those you'll still be talking about in december, before those who discover them in august.

it's an unfair advantage on the indie playing field for those who choose to read DiS.

alternatively, it's a few of our favourite writers and the two core editors listing and passionately describing the new and emerging bands they give a toss about and who'll be the subject of focus throughout the year.

whatever.

in your opinion.

some people might not like sky larkin.

:(

it's pretty cool though right?

well,

i DID meet chris martin last night...

erm... no

we only finished the tracklisting this morning!

no, it's clearly not

if i was being abusive, i'd make that perfectly clear.

i am, in fact, having a laugh. it's when over-the-top political correctness like this creeps in that equality is never reached.

i used to be like you. the gay community is relaxed about it and if we're not too, then surely we're making exceptions and treating gay people differently and as such being significantly more prejudiced to start with?

they're yet to release an album

and are still generally unheard of and thusly qualify for the 'DiScover new music rehabilitation programme'

i.e poo off.

i love you

which other band

make epic, filmic music that as accessible as it is deep?

Snowfight are genuinely AWFUL.

I already said that I bum them

I agreed with you, and you still argued. Good work.

I can't be fucked with you anymore to be honest, but if the record label you're targeting this way is Rough Trade, you should probably open your eyes a little more.

:O

I really do think it's great

It's difficult, don't get me wrong, but you're genuinely rewarded with a massively melodic streak and harmonies to die for. Particularly on ...Piano.
