I've used eMusic which seems to be offering something much nearer the sort of service I'd want if I was to go completely legit. It's only really worthwhile when you get 50 free downloads added to your account. As someone's already said, if I'm going to pay for an album I'd want something physical in return not just a file.

If I got a letter from my ISP I'd probably leave it a bit before trying again to see what happens. I tend to download in phases anyway.

There's no way it'll be out

... though if by some miracle it is will anyone actually care?

Kind of like the noise a tree makes in a forest with no one to hear it.

Legend

Shades was THE shop for the early 80's Metal Head. Used to love my trips up there.

agree

Really think the Burial album is overrated.

WTF?

Totally disagree with this. Think DYLRM? is a great album. Career high point so far. I'm surprised it made the list but I think it's well deserved.

Rick Rubin

Is a genius. ZZ-Top were a pretty cool band when they started, Rio Grande Mud and Tres Hombres are great records. Rubin can only make them better than they are now. Bring it on!

Great review

A fantastic show. Hadn't seen them since '04 and felt they have taken things to a new level now. Their now on my list of "must see" bands. Enjoyed Eamon doing his Brakes solo acoustic thing before hand as well.

That's bollox though

Really - they are very good live. Maybe not quite as amazing as when they first came over to the UK but still a really good live band. Obviously you need to like the music but probably one of the best new bands I've seen in the last 5 years. I saw the White Stripes at Ally Pally and swore I'd not go again, but the AF *are* good enough to make me break that resolution.

Lucky Mike

You may well be the only person in the country who would think Ally Pally is easy to get to. AF are probably the only band in the world right now I'd even consider going to see there.

Front Row

Why are there always Japanese girls down the front at Gigs? Not just occaisionally, every single gig. Even when I was going to Metal gig's in the 80's there was always at least two Japanese girls down the front.

Is "My Stupid Spacebar" ...

a b-side or unrealeased rarity??

and that's bad why?

Seems fair to me. It's a standing venue.

Live at KCLSU

I saw them live at KCLSU last night and they were stunning. I'd post a review except they're not even listed in the listings section!

Actually Mr Diver

... they've released four albums. Otherwise a factually correct item.
