a) the United Kingdom

thank you...

saw HEALTH at SXSW

they were AWFUL. And completely f*cking clueless. it offends me they are getting any attention at all....

THANK YOU

exactly what I have been trying to explain in a million pub rows... I do not understand why people who don't usually like pop try to persuade me that GA are somehow different and good. They might be decent pop, but I don't like manufactured pop music, so why the hell should I like them?

er

am i moron because I don't have wav editing? Or just someone who's got better things to do with their time?

tough one but..

"Peach, Plum, Pear" by Joanna Newsom. I don't know why that song gets to me so much but it does, every time.

Sunday please!

anyone else find the use of the term 'ethnic cleansing' in this article just a wee bit unnnecessary/

I'm sure there is another way of saying what you mean without appearing to make light of genocide.

hmmm

thank ee kindly, but how the devil does it work? the track titles don't appear to be live

she knows nothing

I grew up in Texas and the people there are certainly not 'backward' - they are very kind, interested and generally really lovely people. A hell of a lot more welcoming and polite than the majority of the British population. It really p*sses me off the way people watch Deliverance or King of the Hill and think they can pass judgement on Americans - they didn't all vote for Bush.

I accept it has no musical merit

yet I like it anyway. It's just so dumb and gratuitously shouty that it makes me laugh, and I do enjoy shouting into my cornflakes of a morn.

eeeeeeek

I managed to get 2 for Monday (at about 9.20 - Ticketmaster kept telling me they were unavailable but I tried again and lo and behold they appeared - yay!) but I had told 3 friends I would try and sort us all out. Now I'm hugely excited about going - but gutted that I now have to somehow decide who gets to come with me....
