But where
is "Island in the Sun"?
A pedant writes:
Strictly speaking, it's the third Rambo movie which is incorrectly named. In order:
First Blood
Rambo: First Blood Part 2
Rambo 3
I'm choosing to ignore the fourth for effect.
Ho-ooooooooooo!
Tygra was the balls. He was so cool, he didn't even bother to mention that he could turn himself invisible until the second series.
Fuck ringtone of the year.
Read that bit again about Mos Def being arrested for criticising his government. Yes, ARRESTED for performing a song.
That's just the sort of freedom and democracy we should be exporting to the Middle East!
Thanks.
Truly, you are the gift that keeps on giving.
Oooh, touchy.
Maybe you could lend me yours.
Huh?
"Luckily, this is the only song on the album to follow such a worrying trend."
Trends generally contain more than one item.
The BASTARDS.
Touring with Converge? Fucking Yanks get everything.
I fully expect to see a similar article
around the time of Richard Ashcroft's upcoming arena tour.
I know it's Page's band, but
Helmet's just not Helmet without John Stanier.
Not quite.
"This Scene Is Dead" is their best song by a mile, and hasn't been released at all. The album is patchy, though.
Yeah, but
I'd say this has the edge over Pelican due to the excellent drumming throughout. Pelican's drummer is awful.
Bam Thwok?
Come on, that was appalling!
That's because
Helmet are fan-fucking-tastic.
And the comfort, you won;t believe
'cos the topsheet is a dryweave!
Yeah!
I bet it wasn't as good as
that bit in The Fly where Seth Brundle snaps the guy's arm.
Surely the faintest of all praise.
It does.
Incessant?
Isn't this only the second time?
Wut?
The Sex Pistols aren't a punk band? Did I miss a meeting?
I had hopes
this would be about an Andrew Marr/Massive Attack collaboration.
Broke n English
is the worst band name I've ever heard.
huh?
"A few days pass until life sees me north of the river, at the Kentish Town Forum, experiencing the nu-metal tomes of those giants of their industry, KoÑ?n."
No wonder the gig was shit, if they were reading from large, scholarly books all night.
robocop vs The Orange Walk
I'd pay good money to see that. Especially vs the bastards who march past my house every fucking Saturday in June and July.
Scumbags.
Under 16?
By some considerable disatnce, surely. Aren't they both less than (or equal to) 13 or something?
Look at his face.
Just fucking look at it! Cunt.
Spot on.
Even though this album's pretty much relentless with the glitchy programmed beats, there's not as much excitement in it as there was in "The Fall Of Math". I'm quite disappointed with it.
On the other hand, I did buy the upcdownc album at the same time, which is fucking tremendous.

Two of the new songs (The Charm Offensive and You Can't Keep A Good Man Down) didn't impress me as much as the other new material, but the fact that they played Breed Siamese left me a very happy camper.

Attacking American imperialism isn't very credible when you accept an honour which celebrates British imperialism, does it?

What? Admittedly I don't come to DiS for cutting edge science reportage, but if you're going to drop phrases like this into your piece then the least you should do is have a basic understanding of what it means.
Because the alternative would be that you're just saying stuff to look clever, which would slightly undermine the thrust of your argument against the band you're trying to stitch up.
Oh, and if you do a complete 360, you end up facing the same direction as when you started. You're thinking of a 180.
