you didn't have a photopass

tried to act as though you somehow didn't need one because of your fabulous connections then throw a ranting tantrum on here about it. I photograph legitimately at concerts and if I don't get a pass I don't go along and claim to somehow be entitled to shoot because I know such and such. Grow up

really enjoyed it

one of the best gigs I've been to this year, I think. Great atmosphere and a whole heap of fun. Sorry for photo delay, will try to have them finished tomorrow

neck and neck

but Obama maybe edging it

hey Toby

I went to bed after posting this and realised I'd just slapped my photos on here without mentioning yours. The Paul Leary tongue one is bloody great, love it :)

the Glasgow show was great

here's a link to some photos I took at it

http://www.flickr.com/photos/cadd/sets/72157606355223301/

it's an open secret in Glasgow

that the venue it'll be held in is Rockers

no Paul Leary

has cut this from being something I was really up for to a 50/50

yep

David Byrnes high note at the end of This Must Be The Place ending Talking Heads-Speaking In Tongues ;)

blatant publicity stunt

"literally a poor man's Jawbone"

who's this poor man then ?

what I saw of him at ATP I very much enjoyed and I'm looking forward to seeing him later in the month

hey

very much looking forward to

both gig and album :)

saw them on the Title TK

tour in Glasgow and they were great. Looking forward to album and tour

I'd vote for Bjork-Volta

One of the best live bands

I've seen this year, great gig

meh

lousy misplaced posts

I saw them in San Francisco

with Love Of Diagrams three weeks ago, great gig and will try to make the Glasgow one

I arrived about

five minutes after you and was around sixth in line

Patrick still works in Mono

and makes a great coffee :)

I thought that was his hand

he was holding up

this place is turning into

the News Of The World

I had a great time

despite my bag of lenses/passport/mobile phone/diary etc going awol first thing on the Saturday

Bjork, Teenage Fanclub and LCD Soundsystem highlights for me, photopit during LCD Soundsystem out of this world, the po faced photographers kept shooting, the music fans got our shots then danced and laughed

here's link to my photos

http://tinyurl.com/2x98yq

one of my top three

albums of the year, good on first listen and just gets better and better

I have a spare ticket for one of the San Francisco shows if anyone's interested :)

shite

htf did that end up under that puffpiece than at the end of the thread, meh

I was planning on being

in America at this time but may seriously rethink my travel plans around this

just more

bandwagon jumping and hot air from Cameron

.

"I am not calling for censorship, legislation or the banning of content"

This is exactly what he's calling for, just doesn't have the guts for it to be in his name, wanting others in the music industry to carry the can for him

yawn, really ?

how terribly outrageous of you, fuckwit

I walked out of the Glasgow show

because they went over the heads of the promoters to cancel my photopass about an hour before the doors

I believe I posted about the reunion

months ago, I read about it on another music photographers website. Go me, heyheymomma :p

I saw them in Glasgow

on Saturday, my birthday, and they were very good

Great photos

really spot on work, jealous :)

I'd have missed it anyway

as I'm in Berlin so can buy a ticket for the rescheduled show and they're playing the Indian Summer festival in Glasgow as well. So a win win situation for me :p

Great cover photo

me and the guy who took it were the only two covering that particular gig, what with it being new year and all that. One of the people doing the inner photos is a truly horrible person though and a blight on all that's good and proper ;-p

.

will be at Edinburgh and Glasgow shows. Looking forward to it, they were seriously good in September :)

I've got a ticket for Glasgow

but have no idea what they sound like. A friend from Taiwan likes them so I'll trust her judgement

One of the gigs of the year

that was

I share his pain

I spraypainted something witty on the shutter of the chippy once it'd closed forever when I stayed in one of Glasgows picturesque ghettos. It made it to the papers, go me, eh. Five years later I googled it out of interest to find an archived newspaper report about the street theatre which had been named after it and, get fucking this, an interview with a shellsuited illiterate (probably) local gangsta explaining why he'd sprayed it and where he got his ideas from

Where's the justice, eh.

I saw Dykeenies

doing a support slot five months ago with screaming schoolchildren abound and couldn't wait for them to finish

She's owed me a DiS mixtape comp

for a long time, seriously, if that was really her using that name

Saw them in Mono

in Glasgow on Sunday and they were excellent. Bought a copy of Avatar on vinyl today and listening to it for the first time now

Here's my photos from Glasgow

New album is great

hers was gig of the year when I saw her a few years ago. I'll miss this tour due to being abroad :-(

Looking forward to this

much prefer Breeders stuff to Frank Blacks solo stuff. For me Title T-K and Boards Of Canada-Geogaddie were the two best albums I got in 2002.

Saw Breeders on the Title T-K album and they were great

RIP Arthur

I think I'll go along to the Glasgow show unless I've got a ticket for something else that night

Hahahaha

takes deep breath, hahahahahaha

Take a good look at yourself before insulting others. You cannot take the slightest disagreement with you on here without flying off the handle.

What's your fucking problem ?

Due to your last sentence there's clearly no point in trying to debate anything with you because you're clearly a bit of a tit

Good day to you sir

yeah right

I play the guitar to a high standard (piss over Geriatric Townsend...what a jerk)

One of the best rhythm guitarists in the world and a great lead improviser. It must be really soul destroying knowing how much better than him you are.

The Who Sell Out is a great album. But hey, that's just my opinion, as is yours, and both are valid but neither are bloody gospel.

I've got things like Sgt Peppers in mono and stereo, doesn't make me an expert on it.
