I find that her songs are either really, really good or just ok. I did buy the album and there are some amazing songs on it. I agree with Jehan the rawer version of 'I'm not calling you a liar'is so much better and 'rabbit heart'is also really good when it's just Florence and the harp. I saw her at Glasto and it was hilarious, she was climbing the stage and the crowd was going crazy. Prefer her on album though, then you don't have to worry about her safety :-)she's crazy is Florence

I agree that they sound nothing like Joy Division. I think they are a decent band and the rating of their album was quite fair, but Joy Division are awesome and really should not be compared to them, ever. My friend suggested to me that they sounded similar as he knew I am rather fond of Joy Division and I told him they weren't. Though I can't remember my exact words I used slightly less polite language than a simple 'no'. :-D Omg someone else told me that they thought Linken Park was similar to Joy Division,I just laughed(thought he was joking but it turns out he wasn't)what friends I have. They shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence and anyone who does so is a retard who doesn't deserve ears lol. Apart from this sentence, 'Linken Park are crap, Joy Division were one of the best bands of the 80's and are still amazing today, Curtis could genuinely haunt you with his style and their lyrics were pretty twisted.' Other variations on this sentence would be welcome ;) I wish them the best of luck though and I have quite liked some of their songs such as 'Death' and 'unfinished business'. Though 'a place to hide' does seem to be very similar to 'atmosphere' by Joy Division. Obviously not the beginning of 'a place to hide', and i'm not sure exactly what it is.
